A Selective Guide to Hong Kong Oral History Reference Resources
The following reader’s guide aims at introducing selected oral history resources on a wide range of Hong Kong study topics currently held in the Hong Kong Central Library or accessible through Web connections.
The resources listed comprise audio/visual recordings, books,
journal articles, websites & other Web resources, encompassing oral history records and research outputs by scholars at tertiary institutes or through commissioning by NGOs as well as oral history titles by individuals or amateurs outside the academic fields.
In order to help readers better appreciate the value of oral histories,
some titles on Hong Kong themes which are significantly, if not wholly, based on oral histories are also included.
