    The legal system in Hong Kong is very much the same before and after the change of

    sovereignty.

    Discuss this statement with particular reference to the sources of law in Hong Kong.

    Question 2

    To what extent is the jury system under attack? Should this be abolished in Hong Kong?

    Critically discuss this statement and state reasons for your answer.

    Question 3

    The doctrine of stare decisis should have no application in Hong Kong. This traditional

    doctrine inhibits the growth of our laws in Hong Kong.

    Do you agree with this statement? Critically discuss with supporting authorities.
