In 2010, Molecular Devices retained HiveMind Marketing to redesign and develop a new website, manage email campaigns, enhance brand-ing, and increase lead generation and website traffic.

The existing website was disorga-nized, with weak branding, broken links, and poor search visibility. HiveMind Marketing’s goal was to significantly increase Molecular Device’s web visibility to key target audiences in industry and research, including medicinal chemists, screening biologists, biochemists and chemical biologists.

The new design, based on a power-ful content-management-system, repositioned the company and created communities of interest designed to increase viral appeal, social interaction and engagement, as well as drive in more qualified prospects, leads, and sales.

Guava Technologies needed a new web presence that they could keep up to date themselves. HiveMind Marketing strengthened the com-pany’s image with a clean design that not only helped position their systems and reagents, but also provided segmented information to people involved in Life Sciences Research, Core Flow Cytometry, and Diagnostics.

We developed the new site around a strong content management system with modules for email marketing, ecommerce, multiple databases and more. With more in-depth information, up-to-date news and events, and stronger lead collection capabilities, the new site has helped this biotechnology company grow and prosper.

We also took over their print adver-tising in vertical trade magazines, creating a campaign that shows how Guava Technologies “Understands life once cell at a time.”

NeuStar Ultra Services wanted to renovate their ancient web site to reflect new company services, global resources and a growing client list.

After all, the Company was a leading provider of Managed DNS Services, powering technology solu-tions that enhanced the reliability, scalability and performance of the world’s largest and most highly available networks, including the .org and .uk top level domain root infrastructure.

They chose HiveMind Marketing to handle the transformation. After reviewing myriad designs, they chose a clean design anchored by a four-part Flash presentation of corporate capabilities.

An e-commerce small business solutions section was designed to allow small business to select and implement services without hands-on support.

Project Cornerstone recently surveyed nearly 14,000 4th–12th graders at 95 schools across Santa Clara County to learn about their experiences growing up in our community by measuring the students’ levels of developmental assets. Business-to-Business Trade Advertising, Direct Mail

After terminating their relationship with a large San Jose-based agency, SATO America needed to find new resources for advertising and media placement. They chose HiveMind Marketing.

Our first advertisement was de-signed to appeal to an audience that was unfamiliar with barcode label printers as a category. They only knew that they needed a label.

The idea worked.

The ad grabbed readership awards in magazines, generated record-breaking numbers of leads to the web site, and set the tone for a series of dramatic product ads.

After a long absence from the media, MiLAN Technology wanted to reintroduce the company and its exciting new line of inexpensive wireless networking products. They chose HiveMind Marketing.

Our idea for their advertising cam-paign was to use dramatic imagery not only to showcase their products but also their company.

The idea worked.

Motorola had warehouses of chips featuring a design that was no longer attractive to the PC indus-try. After conducting research, the company realized they could sell this chip to the telecommunications market.

They chose HiveMind Marketing to create a mailing targeted at 35,000 telecommunications managers across the country The mailer and a 24” x 36” poster (with the same cover illustration) were sent out in a canary yellow mailing tube. The results were nearly overwhelming, generating more inquiries, phone calls, presentations than the sales force could handle.

Our success story campaign for Motorola was equally success-ful. Each “Portrait” was based on telephone interviews with satisfied customers.
