IN MAKAH

Jazirah Arab (Arab Peninsula) was between two empires. They were Persia and Byzantium

The religion in Persia Empire was Zoroastrian (Worship The Fire), their Holy Book is Zend Avesta and Byzantium Empire was Christian, their Holy Book is Bible

Both Zend Avesta and The Bible in the last time were mixed by thought of Religious figures those effect their authenticity was incredible

In Arab there were Zoroastrian, Christian, Jewish and belief in Idolatry.

The majority of Jewish lived in Medina among them Bani Quraizah, Gatafan, Nadhir, Aws, Qainuqa and Khazraj Clans.

The society of Arab who believed in Idolatry lived in Makah. They worshiped the stones and the tries. They did not believe Judgment day and living in hereafter.

Long time ago the society of Makah have worshiped Allah as the only God, but because of Prophetic Messenger (Risalah al-Nabiyy) breaking they worshiped idolatry

Before coming Islam, the conditions of Makah called Jahiliyah (Stupidity). It does not mean stupid in knowledge but stupid in morals and believes.

There were wars among the clans, injustices, evils, degradation of women/slave values and violations of human rights.

In other side, they were known with their poetries as media motivating force in emotional and psychological life

THE FIRST DAKWAH

Beginning from our Prophet Muhammad’s isolation habits in his 40 years old in a cave called Hira

On the Ramadhan, the 17th 611 M, the Angel Gabriel gave first devine revelation, it was surah al-Alaq :1-5

This God revelation signify that Prophet Muhammad SAW became a Messenger

THE FIRST DAKWAH

Prophet Muhammad SAW did the first missionary in secret. He invited whom nearest family to believe in Allah. They are His wife Khadijah, His cousin Ali bin Abi Thalib, His friend Abu Bakar and His servant Zaid bin Haritsah

Because of them Utsman bin Affan, Abdurrahman bin ‘Auf, zubair bin Awwam, Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas, Talhah bin Ubaidillah, Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah, Arqam bin Abil Arqam declared embracing Islam. The first followers of Islam were called as-sabiquna awwalun. They did their activities in Arqam bin Abil Arqam’s house

The purpose of this hidden missionary was seeking the Prophet Muhammad’s followers

UNHIDDEN MISSIONARY

After accepting surah : al-Hirj: 94 Rasulullah SAW left the Hidden Missionary

He invited member of society of Makah to gather on Sofa hill, as well as Abu Jahl, Muhammad’s uncle.

He announced them that he was commanded by the God. Soon after his speech, Abu Jahl was angry and throw him some stones. This meeting was crowded.

UNHIDDEN MISSIONARY

Sofa Hill incident has made Islam was known well by Makah society. Part of them opposed and stopped Muhammad’s missionary by a lot of ways.

Embracing Islam Umar bin Khattab made Muslim have more braveness to missionize Islam. Because before his embracing Islam he was an most be feared enemy

MUHAMMAD’S UNCLE ABU THALIB, TRIED TO PERSUADE HIM FOR STOPPING THE MISSIONARY

BECAUSE OF THEIR BELIEVE, HIS FOLLOWERS WERE TORTURED BY QURAISH

THE QURAISH BOYCOTTED THEM FOR 3 YEARS BY NO SPEAKING WITH MOSLEM NO TRADING WITH MOSLEM NO MARRYING WITH MOSLEM

THE PURPOSE OF MUHAMMAD’S MISSIONARY IS RETURN TO RELIGION OF TAUHID. WORSHIP JUST TO ALLAH AND BELIEVE IN THE END DAY.

ABOLISH SOCIAL IMBALANCE

ABOLISH THE CLANS ARROGANCE

WE HAVE TO ENTRUST EVERYTHING TO ALLAH SWT AFTER DOING HARD EFFORTS

WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THE TRUTH SERIOUSLY

WE NEED THE OTHERS TO HELP US

WE HAVE TO HOLD ON AL-QUR’AN AND AL-HADITS AS OUR GUIDE
