Treasurer-Elect – Allison Nadel Director – Lita Sargent Director and Parliamentarian – Martha Dusio Immediate Past President – Roberta Hoey Kaye’s theme for the year is “Altrusans – Building a Stronger Community” FOUNDATION OFFICERS President – Marianne Cross Vice President – Ginny Spaven Secretary – Roberta Hoey Treasurer – Alice Vest On June 1 we celebrated our 35 th anniversary with a luncheon. Guests included several of the original members of our club and Altrusans from the Delta and Grand Junction clubs, including Altrusa International President-Elect Dona Garretson of Grand Junction. We sponsored an Altrusa team in the Montrose High School Knowledge Bowl and won third place. The District Ten Conference was held May 5-7, 2011, in Montrose with 96 Altrusans from 13 clubs. Donna Herman was installed as district governor and Rose Pri ce as district director. Lorie Bollig i s district secretary. COMMUNITY SERVICE Total service hours 12,,806.25: 6,420.25 hours to Altrusa, 6,385.5 hours to other non-profits. International Relations Committee : *purchased booth space at Main i n Moti on and offered its use to others. *Members of the committ ee and representatives from Montrose High School met with Greg Mortensen over Memorial Day and presented $1,840.91 for Pennies for Peace and the Central Asia Institute. Since January 2008 approximately $7,250 has been raised in Montrose f or the institute. *Donated $300 which was matched by $450 from individuals to purchase a water filtr ation system for Pakist an. *Dr. Lou Winkler spoke on Healing the Children and committee members have gathered toothbrushes and toothpaste to send with him to Dominican Republic and/or Vietnam,
