Objective: To design a timeline of historical court cases and legal decisions regarding ELs to be

more aware of ways to support their academic and social skills in the classroom.

Instructions: Search the Internet for a timeline template to showcase your knowledge of

historical court cases and legal decisions for ELs. Briefly describe teaching and learning

strategies to support ELs in the classroom based on your findings.

Tips for Use with ELs: The purpose of a Timeline is to chronologically support learning

using a visual aid to categorize a series of events in a sequential manner. A timeline is a

useful tool for organizing textbook readings, Internet findings, and academic content.
