    Client(s): Punjab Education Foundation (PEF)Title: School Leadership Development Project Punjab SLDPYear: 2007-till present Service: Material Development, TOT and Teachers Training

    Description: The objective of training was to sensitize the Heads of schools in the private sector oneducational management aspects with particular focus on education theories, interactive teachingmethods, effective school management and the use of pedagogical skills. Based on the needsassessment by the PEF, ASK developed all the relevant training material for the SLDP program. Pre andpost training assessment was done and training modules were designed. It also included the selection of

    trainers as well as training of trainers.

    Description: Project aimed at providing vital job skills training and employability to the underprivilegedyouths (males and females) in the various districts of Pakistan. The objectives of the project included

    preparing the youths to meet the needs of the industry by providing them entry level job skills as well ashelping the successful graduates of the program in finding suitable jobs with special emphasis onwomen. ASK was instrumental in not only envisioning the whole project but was also responsible for theoverall project management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, financial management, preparationof training modules, conducting trainings, developing linkages with the industry, etc.

    Description:

    1. Materials Development & Training on HRM Skills: ASK was involved in conceptualization anddelivery of Human Resource Management Capacity Development project for more than 35participants. The program included managing the main functions in Human Resourcesdepartment, the importance of the job analysis and JDs, manage the training and developmentfunctions, enhance the employees motivation and performance through HR tools.

    2. LFA (Legal Framework Analysis) Consultancy & Training: ASK conducted a training, designedfor Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA), determining the needs and developing a strategyand outline for a four days training workshop. The objective of this project was to conduct a TNAand to provide an introduction to logical framework analysis for project planning and monitoringprocesses.

    3. Materials Development & Training on Recruitment and Selection : ASK conceptualized anddelivered the Recruitment and Selection Training to the members of Swiss Committee. Thisintervention provided training in the Analyzing skills and competencies, Sifting through CVs,

    Description: A three Days Training Workshop on Understanding Learning Dynamics and Assessmentwas conducted for the Mitigation of Child Labor Through Education in Pakistan (MCLEP) Project Teamboth form NWFP and Balochistan. The purpose of this training was to assess participants current levelof understanding about Learning and Teaching, Monitoring and Applying New Testing Formats. ASKdeveloped the training material for this training intervention as per their training requirement whichwas then followed by a three days training workshop.

    Description:

    1. TNA, Training Material Development & Training Intervention: ASK Conducted TNA todetermine training needs of professionals working as part of PEPSI Team. TNA was part of anongoing effort on the part of PEPSI to ensure its teams remained high performance teams. Thetraining spanned around Teams and its dynamics, Role of communication within the team, Teamnorms, Resolving inter-group conflict, Building trust and respect among the team members,Problem solving, and positive thinking.

    2. 360 Feedback Survey: ASK organized a training 360 feedback survey, it is a process wherebyan individual is rated on their performance by people who know something about their work.

    This feedback survey included direct reports, peers, and managers. The individuals alsocompleted a self-assessment exercise on their performance, which was also used in the process.The objective of this 360 feedback process was to gain information about how Pepsi

    employees were feeling and for ironing out communication / perception disconnects and aid inenhancing overall productivity and performance of the organization.

    3. TNA, Training Material Development & Training Intervention: ASK did a training needsassessment of the floor staff and its management team to determine their understanding of theneed for working as team for the effectiveness of the organization. The results of the TNA wereused to design and conduct Team Building training intervention to inculcate team spirit in PEPSIprofessionals. The purpose of this process oriented training intervention was to ensure thatshop floor staff become conversant with the concepts, techniques of working within teams, andget them to understand that Pepsi appreciates and values team players.     Description: Ongoing training consultations whereby ASK conducts Training Needs Assessments of Ericssons staff working on diverse projects throughout Pakistan, develops training material and conducttraining interventions to meet the ever vibrant Telecommunication Industry.

    The objective of these consultations is to keep Ericsson management informed about the trainingrequirements to ensure that organizational goals are achieved with minimum of interruptions.

    Under this consultation, ASK has conducted multitudes of trainings covering vast topic such as: ProjectManagement, Finance for Non Finance Managers, Business Communication, and Technical ReportWriting.

    Description: ASK worked on pilot project named Empowering Youth on Peace andDevelopment (EYPAD) in collaboration with PLAN Pakistan on 09 different modules. The size of groupto whom training/sessions was imparted was 25 to 30 falling under the ages 18-25 years with variededucational backgrounds such as middle, matriculate, intermediate and few studying graduates,

    belonging to slum-areas in Islamabad. This program helped in designing trainings for youths as well astheir mentoring for jobs.

    Description: Under this project ASK Development with the partnership of CareInternational trained & placed 750 unemployed youth on jobs which also included technical training indomestic plumbing and wiring. This project was implemented in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore & Peshawar.

    The Pakistan Jobs project was a USAID funded project designed to improve the competitiveness of thePakistani economy by strengthening systems for workforce development, encourage Pakistani

The project had two components i.e. Apprenticeship Scheme and SkillsTraining Initiative for Youth in Lower FATA.

EnggsolRecruitment has grown from specializing in HR solutions and recruitment services for the IT andEngineering industries to a highly respected presence in the recruitment industry sourcing qualitypersonnel and servicing major Clients in accounting and finance, information technology, sales andmarketing, HR and administration, engineering, hospitality, telecommunications and logistics.

    Under this project, ASK is providing Recruitment Services to Enggsol. The services include the shortlisting of Singaporean candidates, initial telephonic interviews through our Pakistani recruitmentconsultants. ASK is managing the payroll of Pakistani recruitment consultants also since 2007.
