Your role:

Your profile :

-Previous experience of 3 to 5 years as a clown in an international circus

-Highly stress resistant, teamplayer but autonomous, flexible, multitasker, very good communication skills, proficient in headstands, gymnastics, and at least 6 languages

We are looking for a clown to join our international team at Red Circus, a family-owned circus created in 1873.

Your role

We are mainly looking for you to take on the following responsibilities:-Most important is to entertain the children during your number and between those of others -As part of our team, we also expect you to take part in tasks such as occasionally feeding the animals and packing up the big tent.

Your profile

At The Red Circus, we are looking for creativity and talent, whether in gymnastics or in another area, as long as you develop your own unique brand of humor.

A relevant experience in a similar environment is required. A great sense of humor and a great contact with children is a must. Proficiency in several languages is a plus.

A few cognitive bias in interviewingMirror effect : we find people like us to be likable… (but not too much like us - potential threat – see next point) . Likewise, we find people who are very different from us in personality to be unlikable.

Halo effect : we are more lenient /willing to hire someone who is very handsome or charming, regardless of their actual answers/competencies.

Likewise, we have more trouble being convinced by someone’s competencies if we strongly dislike something about them(subjective : grating voice, wearing a moustache or a disturbing hairstyle…)
