WEDNESDAY NIGHT NEWS
Tonight ends our “Summer in Psalms”. This has truly been a great study.
Next Wednesday night, September 2, we go back to regular classes. The
Junior High, Teens and Young Adults resume their usual classes. Adults
may choose between the regular class in the Old Auditorium or a table
discussion class in the fellowship area with the same format we’ve used
for the Psalms. The young adult class will be studying
“Great Bible Wonders, Examples and Champions”.
VICKSBURG MEETING
This Sunday, I begin a Gospel Meeting with the church in Vicksburg, MS.
Keep me in your prayers as I travel and preach through Wednesday night.
I look forward to being back in the pulpit in Hartselle next Sunday.
SUPER SUNDAY
Our next Super Sunday is September 13. Let’s get started inviting our
family, friends and neighbors to be with us that Sunday. Morning worship
will begin at 10 a.m. (No Sunday School). Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. We
plan to have our afternoon service around 12:30 in the fellowship area and
conclude by 1 p.m. Be here and bring someone with you.
M & M
September 21, will begin our M & M (Mondays & Ministry) for the fall. We
will continue with the same format we had in the spring. Each month we
plan to have an additional ministry. Menus are being planned. Dinner will
be at 6 p.m. We will have a devotion at 6:35 p.m. and then dismiss to our
various ministries. Make plans to be with us.

TWO BELLS SUNDAY
For PROMOTION DAY The first bell will ring five minutes
before class is dismissed for our children to move up to the next age or
grade level. The second bell signals the end of the class period.

♥ Marty Stewart underwent cataract surgery today. Pray for John & Marty.
♥ Billy Engle is scheduled for hip replacement
surgery Sept. 23. Maudie requests our prayers for a full recovery.
♥ Tommie Brown is now at home recovering from back surgery. Pray for Tommie & Guy as she recovers.
♥ Dwight Shaddrix requests our continued prayers while he is in
chemo for cancer in his liver and lungs. We were happy he was able to be back with us Sunday. Pray for Dwight & Joyce.
♥ George Thompson was hospital-ized for another blood transfusion Sunday. Pray for George, Glenda and family as he continues treat-ment.
♥ Dene Walls has been undergoing further tests this week. Pray for Dene & Clarence.
♥ Betty Martin is now staying in Columbia Cottage, Rm. # 8 while she
recovers from a broken foot. It is good to have Betty back with us.
♥ Ann Bullard, friend of Ed & Willie Monroe, has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Prayers are requested.
M & M RESUMES MONDAY NIGHT SEPTEMBER 21
We will eat at 6 PM in the fellowship area, have our devotional at 6:35, then proceed to areas of service. Please be sure to sign the eating list early and join us for an uplifting evening.
