IEC 61850 protocol digital multifunctional relay - HiMAP-BCSHYUNDAI HIMAP-BCS is a multifunction protection relay based on themicroprocessors and integrates with the new technology of electrical, electronic, andmechanical field of HYUNDAI.
Nowadays our customers have required much more integrated multi protection relay,monitoring and control devices for better and easier maintenance, performance,electrical system analysis and communication according to new trend of switchgear.
HiMAP-BCS has a protection function to protect incoming and feeder lines, the motorand the transformer. It also has various kind of measuring function & control functionare linked to Power management system with IEC 61850 communication.

Fault Wave and Event Record
HiMAP-BCS saves fault record to removable memory. The saving information includes fault phase and
magnitude, point of fault-time, operating time offunction, rate of harmonic wave and so on.
For recent fault, 300 periodic waves (5 sec) of thecurrent and voltage of each phase are auto-saved as36-sampling per period. It can record 100 faults andtransfer to other system with the communication portslocated in the front and back.
All records in memory can be analyzed with HiMAP-BCS Manager program.
Harmonic Wave Analyzing Function
For the currents of 3-phase, HiMAP-BCS measuresamounts of harmonic wave (1st - 13th) of each phase.
For the fault-wave of 3-phase, HiMAP-BCS cananalyze amounts of harmonic wave (1st - 18th) ofeach phase. (Using HiMAP-BCS manager program)

HiMAP-BCS can control of circuit breaker by orderthrough communication from remote user and itmakes remote control of feeder from externalcommunication module.
HiMAP-BCS complies with IED 61850 and modbusprotocol and can be connected to various SCADAsystem. And it helps simplify the system.
Interlock wiring can be epochally reduced by logicfrom user definition.

HiMAP-BCS Provides a graphic display with a color LCD and touch panel as a kind of HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
Mimic diagram displayUser can configure mimic to describe single line
and data with mimic-edit program from PC.Normal picture file-format, easy edit and register
library are possible.
Wave monitoring display in real timeFor selected current or voltage phase, up to 2
waves can be plotted for 2 period.With colorful display, easy to recognize wave
and their measuring data.
Vector diagram displayUser can recognize magnitude and phase-angle
of current or voltage of each phase.The values of data are indicated in numeral text
and distinguished by color.
Harmonic graph displayThe analysis of harmonic wave from voltage or current
is recognized by graph and figure up to the 13th wave.
