INTRODUCTION:

An Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto noticed a great inequality in the distribution of wealth. Only few people owned most of the wealth. J. M. Juran found that this same phenomenon of the “vital few and the trivial many” applied to many areas of Statistical Process Control. He was the one who discovered the terms “Pareto chart” and “Pareto analysis” to represent this phenomenon. In quality control, Pareto analysis refers to the tendency for the bulk of the quality problems to be due to a few of the possible sources. Hence, by isolating and correcting the major problem areas, we can obtain the greatest increase in quality. So, we can say that Pareto diagram is a graphic display that emphasizes the Pareto principle using a bar graph in which the bars are arranged in decreasing magnitude.

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR BUNKING:

Page 4: Himani_Bhandari (4)

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR 80% OF PROBLEM:

To attend coaching classes Dislike Towards A Subject Peer Pressure Course content is available from another

source The teacher digresses, is repetitious,

confusing, or goes too quickly Thinking that not learning anything

AGAIN DEFINING PARETO DIAGRAM:

A Pareto chart is a bar graph. The lengths of the bars represent frequency or cost (time or money), and are arranged with longest bars on the left and the shortest to the right. In this way the chart visually depicts which situations are more significant.

Benefits of Pareto diagram :

For analyzing data about the frequency of problems or causes in a process.

When there are many problems or causes and you want to focus on the most significant.

For analyzing broad causes by looking at their specific components. For communicating with others about your data.

CONCLUSION:

Bunking lectures is a topic which must be taken into consideration seriously ,as most of the students fail or spoil their life's due to this only. We have made this presentation by surveying every possible source. If we seriously take into consideration these 80% of the causes then future of students can be made bright and maybe after knowing this, students stop bunking lectures. I am very thankful to the person who have decided this as a part of the challenge. By the time of making this presentation we learned many things specially very important the pareto chart which is very useful in any sector or in any field.
