Richard M. Langworth is a senior fellow for Hillsdale College’s Churchill Project. He has served as president and chairman of the board of trustees of the International Churchill Society, as well as editor of its journal, Finest Hour. He published the fi rst American edition of Churchill’s India, is the author of A Connoisseur’s Guide to the Books of Sir Winston Churchill, and is the editor of several books, including All Will Be Well: Good Advice from Winston Churchill. His most recent book is Churchill and the Avoidable War. In 1998, he was appointed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Program: Day One—Disembark and depart the pier via air-conditioned motor coach for a guided tour of Blenheim Palace, Churchill’s birthplace and ancestral home. See the room where Churchill was born and the gardens where he proposed to Clementine. Visit Churchill’s gravesite at St. Martin’s church in nearby Bladon. Enjoy lunch and a lecture in Oxford, followed by free time. Continue to London for hotel check in and dinner on your own.

Day Two—Following a group breakfast at the hotel, depart on a walking tour of important Churchill sites in the Whitehall area, including Horse Guards Parade and the Churchill War Rooms.
