MESSAGE FROM MOMo Bundon

Mo BundonSenior VP and COO Harvard Developments Inc.

Dear colleagues,

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you celebrated the start of 2016 in good spirits with family and friends. Now that we’re a few days into the new year, it’s natural to look ahead and think about what this year may bring us. But before we do, let’s take a look back.

2015 was quite a year for all of us at the Hill Companies and this edition of the Hill Street News is dedicated to celebrating the achievements we made as a company over the last 365 days. But before we dive in and relive the great moments of 2015, I feel its important to pause and gain an understanding of how and why we have been able to achieve this success. Celebrating our success is always important, but the most rewarding part of achiev-ing any success is understanding how you got there, and the people that made it all possible.

As a company, our strongest point and the driver to our success has always been our people; something that was truly on display during our Annual Hill Companies Christmas Party held back in December. Among the many highlights of this year’s party was the opportunity to recognize our incredible individuals who were celebrating service milestones with the Hill Companies. A historic number of colleagues, 27 in total from across our real estate branches, took to the stage to accept their awards as we paid tribute to their respective years of service. With each award, we heard inspiring stories of future leaders in our organization to others who have grown with us for over 25-35 years and are at the top of their career aspirations.

It was a special moment for all in attendance, considering the rarity it is in today’s work world where employee longevity is on a continuous decline. Yet, despite this climate, our companies continue to attract the very best people, retain them, and help them achieve their own personal career goals. Our people and our culture has been the foundation of our business for over 112 years, allowing us to build within and pave the way to our success in every new project and task we embark upon.

As you read through the coming pages and revisit the events and projects that made 2015 special, please keep this message in mind and understand just how this success came to be. Behind every success story are our peo-ple, whether they’ve been with us for a few years or a few decades, leading the way and growing our business for the future.

Happy New Year and best wishes for 2016,-Mo

Happy New Year Everyone!

The start of a new year is always an exciting time... It’s a time to wipe the slate clean, start fresh, and set new goals. It seems that my resolutions are the same every year and I suspect I wouldn’t be alone. I once read a little prayer that made me laugh about this seemingly endless pursuit:

Dear God,So far today, I’ve done alright.

I haven’t gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy or grumpy, been nasty, selfish or overindulgent.

I’m very thankful for that. But in a few minutes, God, I’m going to get out of bed.And from then on, I’m going to need a lot more help.

Amen

I was struck by the witty prose, but also touched by the prayer’s portrayal of our human desire to be better and its gentle acknowledgement our humanness. The reality is that in each beginning of a new year, our sheer determi-nation and our genuine commitment, actually do translate to improvement. The Hill Companies are an example of this. Back in 1903, my great grandfather and his business partner started out to build a little insurance company and sell a bit of land. It was tough slugging, but each year progress was made, laying the foundation for what has become The Hill Companies today.

The average lifespan of a company listed on the S&P 500 Index is 15 years, which begs the question; how have we managed to make it to 113? Our success and improvement is a result of our incredibly talented and passionate staff, our commitment to our communities and our focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are a family company and we believe in one another.

Over the course of our history, and even today, our companies continue to face significant economic and busi-ness obstacles that push and challenge us to new limits. And yet, it is how we embrace these challenges which illustrate what we are all about.. We have proven time and time again, regardless of what comes our way, that we have the ability to band together, embrace change, reinvent ourselves and become stronger – one might even say,.. New Year’s Resolutions in action.

On February 3rd, we celebrate another anniversary and I encourage you all to take some time to congratulate your fellow colleagues and help mark this important date in our history together. Our 113 year journey is about growth, resiliency, and innovation. And yes, let us not forget,.. New humble beginnings as well.

This issue of the Hill Street News is “a year” in review. But to all of you,…We say thank you for your work, your time, your dedication in 2015 and the 112 years before that.

Cheers & Happy Reading,

EDITOR’S MESSAGERosanne Hill Blaisdell

By the time this newsletter arrives on your desk, I might imagine that most of you will be starting to think about taking down the streams of house lights, tree lights and other Christmas lights that may have taken on a life of their own in your home over the holiday season.

On that note, please allow me to share some insight into the world of our internal “Set of Lights”. These lights have no need to be unplugged or packed away; rather these lights reside INSIDE of us. The seven chakras are coloured balls of light, each hold-ing a centre of energy within the body. The chakras and the health of the body are interrelated. One’s imbalance affects the other. When in perfect har-monious alignment, each chakra appears as gentle spinning coloured wheel of bright light that start at the base of the tail bone and travel up the spine, ending up at the crown of the head. However, when our bodies are highly stressed, these coloured lights are essentially spinning out of control like the wheels of a car on sheer ice. Left unchecked, the hu-man body becomes compromised.

In Integrative medicine, Reiki is one of the modali-ties that treats the chakras, “cleanses” and restores them to a state of balance. The Japanese word Reiki means “Universal Life Energy”. It was developed in 1922 by a Buddhist named Mikao Usui. In a treat-ment, a certified therapist works to correct stagnant or blocked energy that is interfering with the natu-ral fluidity and speed of each wheel. When energy is stagnant, it affects the health of the body. When it flows smoothly, the body’s natural healing abilities are allowed to flourish. I can attest to the efficacy of Reiki, for five years ago I badly bruised the liga-ments, tendons and muscle tissue in my right foot. After numerous painful physio treatments, I finally tried Reiki. It was painless and relaxing. With only a few treatments it completely healed the interior areas of my foot and I was walking without pain.

The first chakra is called the ROOT chakra and ra-diates in RED and it sits right at the base of the spine. It represents stability, overall physical fitness, a sense of safeness, abundance, and financial secu-rity. When these qualities are strong, consistently present and balanced in your life, so too is your root chakra.

This chakra can become unbalanced by fear, poor food habits, exposure to violence and struggle to accept life changes. Activities that harmonize the root chakra are gardening, cleaning, cooking, drumming, caring for animals, and organizing one’s physical environment.

Next is the SACRAL chakra and it radiates in OR-ANGE. It is energetically responsible for one’s sense of vitality and enjoyment. In its unbalanced state, feelings of mistrust, resentment, guilt, shame, jealousy and mood swings maybe occur-ring in your life. Activities suggested to balance this chakra include swimming, hula hooping, yoga, laughing and expressing your creativity.

The third chakra is the SOLAR PLEXUS and radi-ates in YELLOW. It is located under the rib cage. Its key properties are personal power, effective-ness, dedication, independence and leadership. power, effectiveness, dedication, independence and leadership. In the unbalanced state, one may display power hunger instead of empower-ment, low self-esteem, lack of direction and self-discipline, critical thoughts, anxiety, perfection-ism, anger and or frustration. Balancing activities suggested are, breathing exercises, sit ups, belly laughter, core strengthening exercises, and com-petitive sports.

The fourth chakra is connected to our HEART and radiates in GREEN. Its properties are love, peace, compassion, forgiveness, hope and acceptance. Unbalanced, this chakra can contribute to feel-ings and thoughts of unresolved grief, chronic sadness, loneliness, resentment and fear of aban-donment. Activities that nurture and balance this chakra are writing a love letter, hugging someone, a mother’s breastfeeding and helping others.

The fifth chakra located behind the THROAT is our communication center, responsible for personal ex-pression. It radiates in the colour of pale BLUE. This chakra represents inner truth, purity, sincerity, opti-mism and encouragement, as well as the ability to process criticism, receive information and respond. In an unbalanced state, one may display dishonesty, manipulation, gossip and experiencing the physi-cal symptoms of a sore throat, dental issues, teeth grinding, and thyroid dysfunction. Balancing activi-ties are laughing, toasting, confessing, and listening to music.

The sixth chakra is known as the THIRD EYE and is located in the space between the eyes and brow line. It radiates in the colour of INDIGO. It repre-sents clarity, imagination, concentration and all psychic abilities. In its unbalanced state, one may experience worry, depression, hallucinations, issues with vision and sinuses, headaches, panic attacks, poor memory, and lack of focus. To rebalance this chakra one may want to practice visualization exer-cises, have craniosacral and myofascial treatments and hypnotherapy.

The final chakra is the CROWN chakra, located at the top of head. It radiates in VIOLET or purple. It repre-sents alignment and connection to your higher self. It holds the potential for the highest level of peace, bliss and wisdom. Unbalanced, one may experience confusion, anxiety and lack of purpose. Meditation, mindfulness, fasting and prayer will rebalance this chakra.

Given the important role these chakras play in the health of our bodies, these seven lights deserve to twinkle not just during the Holidays but through-out the whole year. Now with a NEW YEAR upon us, why not take an active step in beginning to care for your OWN well-being? If there’s an area of your life or health that needs some change or care, working with these “internal lights” can greatly assist you in bringing about greater health and happiness.

At one point or another throughout your career, I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” These wise words can be heard quite commonly in the ed-ucation and corporate world, and for good reason. From the time we are teenagers, right up until our middle ages, a majority of our days are spent out in the workforce - a timeframe that can span more than 70% of one’s life…which is why it is so crucial to find something you truly enjoy doing. Hearing these words is always a nice reminder, but actually seeing someone live them is an even better example, which is where Randy Stevenson, the focus of this month’s Employee Spotlight feature, comes into focus.

If you work in downtown Regina, or have ever set foot in a Harvard office tower, odds are you’re al-ready familiar with Randy, one of Harvard’s finest Building Operators, and know just how important he is to our company. But for those of you that haven’t, you’re about to get an in-depth look at one of our most trusted and knowledgeable members of our building operations team. To do this, let’s travel back to the Fall of 2006 where the love affair be-tween Harvard and Randy first began. Having spent the past 14 years working in the architectural light-ing industry doing lighting for all sorts of concerts, movies, videos, and conventions, Randy was looking for a new challenge and came across a job posting with Harvard in the building operations department that seemed to be a perfect fit for his skill set. After completing his Building Systems Technology cours-es through SIAST, the Harvard chapter of Randy’s ca-reer was underway.

His first days with Harvard would have him stationed at the newly acquired Staples Business Centre. Throughout that first year, Randy soaked up as much information and knowledge as he could, quickly becoming a trust-ed resource for tenants and visitors to the call centre. However, it wasn’t long before Randy got the call that he and his skills would be transitioning to our growing portfolio of office tower properties in downtown Regina, a role he has thrived in ever since. His time in downtown Regina has consisted of stops in Century Plaza (5 years), FCC Tower (3 years), to his most recent role looking after our Agriculture Place office tower that is in the process of moving in tenants this year.

As a Building Operator, Randy describes his role as sim-ple, yet incredibly dynamic at the same time. “At the end of the day, we are responsible for the well being of the tenants and the building,” says Randy. “It’s a unique role that requires the ability to not only use technical skills to fix a problem, but also the people skills to deal with tenants and communicate what will be done.” In addi-tion to this, our Building Operators like Randy must be able to tackle any number of varying tasks that come up throughout the day. “In my time at Harvard I’ve learned that anything and everything CAN and WILL happen,” comments Randy as he thinks back over some of the dif-ferent situations he’s faced. “We have to be prepared to act quick on our feet and find solutions for new issues.”

Like many of us, Randy identifies his favourite part of his role being the people. “I always enjoy joking around with the guys I work with and getting to know our tenants on a personal basis…. all of the members of our team have been amazing to work with. They are a great group and everyone is there to help each other out.”

One would think that when you deal with real es-tate and building repairs/maintenance for a living that your free time might be taken up by something else, but that is certainly not the case for Randy. In his spare time, the jack of all trades enjoys spending time with his wife and two children Connor (7) and Catherine (2), while also taking care of some major home renovations that the family has been doing over the last few years. Once the renovations are all wrapped up, they are planning to sell and move into a new home.

With nearly ten years of experience under his belt, Randy has quietly built up a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to building systems and operations, making him one of the valued lead-ers and experts of the operations team. But the real story about Randy and his success can be found in his answer to the question “What is your dream job?” …. “To be honest with you, I’ve never even thought about that,” says Randy. “The role I have today is my bread and butter and something I love to do…. And working with all the guys on our team and getting to know our tenants is a blast. I couldn’t imagine do-ing anything else.”

For those lucky enough to deal with Randy on a reg-ular basis, it’s clear to see that he is a living breathing example of the phrase “find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” His success and knowledge in his role is born out a natural passion for his work and it shows in everything he has done for Harvard over the last nine years.

The role I have today is my bread and butter and something I love to do…. working with all the guys on our team and getting to know our tenants is a blast. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Harvard Western Insurance’s 2015 Annual Workplace United Way Campaign was another great success. We set a goal of 50% participation and 20% growth over last years total amount raised, and reached 76% participation and our target dollar value goal, raising $19735.00. This amount will be matched by Paul Hill for a total amount contributed to the United Way of $39,470! The success of this year’s campaign can be attributed to our new executive campaign coordinator, Kim Ottenbreit, and the great activities available to employees who participat-ed. Jeans week, fun games for prizes, lots of gift cards, and some friendly branch on branch competition, in which the one lucky staff member got to dress their manager up for a day) led to a dynamic and engaging campaign that will ben-efit the greater Regina community in so many excellent ways.

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season brings a flurry of activity to the property management teams, as year-end reporting is prepared for clients and Christmas cheer is rolled out to customers. In addition to the usual activity, the downtown Regina team is pleased to begin management of Agriculture Place, now substantially complete and partially occupied by Farm Credit Canada staff.

The very first VIP Client event for 201 Portage was hosted in Winnipeg on Novem-ber 25th. Guests were invited to enjoy a “Master Culinary Experience” and were pleasantly surprised to be presented with personally monogrammed Chef’s jackets of their very own. We look forward to this becoming a Harvard tradition at 201 and further developing our client relationships.

On December 1st, a familiar face was welcomed back to our Saskatchewan retail portfolio team, as Dawn Schlosser returned from maternity leave.

The Hill Company Christmas party, held on December 11th, was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our colleagues from the regional offices. Thanks to all of those who visited Regina that weekend.

The Edmonton team introduced a new Senior Property Administrator, Wendy So, to the company on December 15th. Wendy will be responsible for Currents of Windermere, Windermere Crossing and Windermere South. On December 21st, Tegan Shack joined the Calgary team as Building Operator and will work with the ATCO Gas portfolio.

We would also like to acknowledge Alan Plunkie of our Edmonton office for achieving his five year anni-versary with Harvard this fall. Congratulations Alan!

On January 1st, HPMI Edmonton will take over management of a new property, Synergy Wellness Centre. This state-of-the-art facility integrates more than 50 health and wellness disciplines.

As a number of projects are wrapping up at the end of 2014, Michelle Dawson has successfully converted all of the HPMI Manual into UConnect! Thank you Michelle for your focus on bringing all of the information we rely on daily to our fingertips.

All of the property management teams were busy this month with holiday appreciation for tenants. Back by popular de-mand in downtown Regina, were “Turkey Cup” lunches; a re-ception at Le Marchand in Edmonton and Eau Claire Market in Calgary; and traditional shortbread at 201 Portage. The retail elves delivered cards & gift baskets to our shopping centres as well.

On November 30th, Terri Hillier McIntosh completed her broker’s education with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission and is now registered as property management’s Associate Broker for Saskatchewan. In addition to news of this exciting achievement, Terri also said “YES!” to the big question, and is engaged to marry her new fiancé Steve Klein. Congratulations Terri and Steve!

2015 is now behind us and Corporate Accounting had a great year.

Phase 1 of the Urban Village is currently underway, with two buildings under construction and set to open in 2016. The first will be a 17,000 sq.ft Designer Shoe Warehouse, a fashion anchor that will set the bar for the rest of the development. Also, because urban villages typically include dining and leisure retailers, Browns Social House will open next to Designer Shoe Warehouse. The second building will contain three levels of residential above 10-12 retail stores. To date, approximately 50% of this mixed-use building is leased to services, a coffee shop, and other retailers that will make the The Village a lively community gathering place. Stay tuned in the coming months of 2016 as we set to announce future retailers coming to this exciting project.

NEW OPENINGS AT GRASSLANDS:Things are a little more spicy out at Grasslands with the latest addition of TacoTime to our retail tenants. The home-style Mexi-can franchise, known for their famous burritos and Mexi-fries, opened their doors at the end of November and are located next to Mr. Lube on the South side of our site.

Grasslands was also proud to welcome the Grand Opening of Lammle’s Western Wear and Tack at the end of December. Lammle’s is Canada’s largest Western Wear retailer and offer a wide range of clothing, shoes and accessories all geared to the western and country lifestyle. This is Lammle’s second franchise in Saskatchewan and we are excited to have them as a tenant of our property.

Harvard Developments’ latest joint venture project, Westerra, is the first new mixed use neighbour-hood approved for development in the City of Regina. Situated on the west side of the city between Courtney Street and Pinkie Road, Westerra will be a 490 acre “complete community” with a mix of residential, retail and commercial uses.

The final engineering drawing for the first phase of Westerra was submitted in January ’16 and we anticipate full construction approval by March. Legal subdivision and land title registration to follow shortly thereafter.

The Westerra site office is now open and operational as the new business office for Forester Projects.

Major earthworks commenced in the fall of ‘15, and SaskEnergy has started work on the infrastructure to accommodate for the new community. Installation of major underground services will continue in the early spring with surface work on roads and sidewalks to follow. Commercial and multi-family parcels, as well as residential lots are scheduled to be serviced during sum-mer ‘16, with residential show homes opening in the fall of ‘16.

Seasons continues to generate substantial tenant interest in all aspects of the project. Our joint venture with Ivanhoé Cambridge for the construction of a 400,000 square foot enclosed fashion

outlet mall is progressing nicely. Seasons is progressing on schedule with the steel for the Outlet Collection being started in December. The work is easily visible from both of the major roads adjacent to the site which has created another surge in interest from the public and development community.

This spring, work will begin on the Audi dealership and the hotel, making for a very active construction site. Deveraux has started construction on their 10-acre residential parcel and Brightwater is expected to start their assisted living facility this spring too.

The team has been developing a merchandising plan for the pad sites and the first Landlord building is expected to be under construction this year. Dan and Blair will be attending the ICSC Whistler conference at the end of January to further promote the project with potential Tenants.

HARVARD BROADCASTING

MESSAGE FROM CAMBy: Cam Cowie - Vice President and COO, Harvard Broadcasting

As we enter a new year, I’d like to share with you all a special message I came across that offers a great outlook and lesson for our daily lives....

“A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was ... The professor then picked

up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was ... The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “yes”. The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed ... Now, said the professor as the laughter subsided.

I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things … your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions … and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else … the small stuff.

If you put the sand into the jar first, he continued, there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18 ... There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

Take care of the golf balls first … the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.....

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented. The professor smiled and said, I’m glad you asked. The beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of beers with a friend”

Happy New Year everyone and best wishes for a great 2016!

- Cam

MIX 103.7 once again teamed up with the Wood Buffalo Food Bank and the Fort McMur-ray Public School District to ‘Stuff the Bus’ for the Santa Claus Parade in Fort McMurray, to help those in need this winter season. The food drive was a great success and raised over 1,300lbs of food and almost $1,500 in cash. 100.5 CRUZ FM partnered with the Fort Mc-Murray SPCA for the Santa Claus Parade which saw several members of the public enquire about one of the furry friends that was part of the CRUZ FM float.

In addition to our participation in the Christmas parade, both stations gave back this festive season with MIX 103.7 teaming up with the Salvation Army for their Kettle Campaign and 100.5 CRUZ FM teaming up with the SPCA for Santa Paws: Stuff the Studio. Both stations enjoyed successful partnerships that continue to strengthen Harvard’s reputation and com-mitment to community mindfulness.

We recently said good bye to our Creative Assistant/On Air Announcer Trish Henneberry who will remain locally in town, but leaves the world of radio. Both stations have a busy 2016 lined up, with 100.5 CRUZ FM’s “30 Deeds” kicking off in February, where each day CRUZ announcers do a good deed for a non-profit, business or listener. MIX 103.7 will welcome back the successful MIX Mash for Cash giveaway in February as well, where we give away cold hard cash!

GX94 & FOX FM - Yorkton, Saskatchewan Kelsey Liebricht

For the fifth consecutive year, GX94’s Tonya Cherry & the GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbook have travelled to communities in Saskatchewan & Manitoba. Selling out at all nine locations, $12,000 was raised and given back to local charities like women’s shelters, food banks and Christmas toy collections. Tonya receives recipes from listeners and then goes about trying every recipe herself.

Both FOX FM & GX94 got in the Christmas spirit while participating in a local Winter Lights Festi-val. The evening started off with a parade through the town of Canora where it ended at the local sports ground. Following the parade, free hotdogs and hot chocolate were provided to the public, who were gathered around a bonfire watching the fireworks.

FOX FM & SaskMilk teamed up to encourage children, especially those in-volved in sport, to drink chocolate milk as opposed to energy drinks. Every month from October to May, one male and one female are chosen to be FOX FM’s Athlete of the Month. Each child received a cooler filled with chocolate milk as well as other SaskMilk prizes, which was delivered to them at their team’s practice.

The X92.9 limited edition Cookie Cutters were back but only for a limited time! For only $5, our listeners not only found the perfect stocking stuffer but also landed on Santa’s good list when they picked up X shaped cookies this holiday season. X Shaped cookies cutters were available until December 23 with proceeds going to the Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund.

On December 18, X92.9 hosted the annual Xmas Music Therapy Auction. X Mornings with Tyler & Lynch were taking bids all morning with the highest bidder receiving a GIANT 30lb chocolate santa courtesy of Cococo Chocolatiers. All proceeds raised from both fundraisers will be donated to the Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund. ...www.musictherapytrust.ca

HOT 107 & 95.7 CRUZ FM - Edmonton, Alberta Melanie Raessler

HOT 107When Edmonton Oiler prodigy Connor McDavid was injured in a game in November, HOT 107 took to the streets to get “Edmonton’s Biggest Get Well Card” signed for him. Ryder in the Morning with Lisa Evans & Grant Johnson visited various locations around the city to get Oiler fans to leave a get well message for #97... “Your only GOAL is to heal & we hope this card can ASSIST”.

95.7 CRUZ FMFor the month of September, 95.7 CRUZ FM’s Crosbie & Cross were the “Celebrity Chefs of the Month” for Delux Burger Bar. For every celeb-rity burger sold, $1 was donated to Light the Night in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Lochlin’s “Don’t go BACON my Heart” Burger & Nicola’s “Don’t Stop BRIE-leiving” Burger sold 993 burgers in the month of Sep-tember.

2015 was the fourth year that Harvard Broadcasting Edmonton supported the Light the Night Walk, and we have been excited to watch this local walk grow from 400 walkers to over 2000. This year we raised over $350,000 towards re-search and patient care.

104.9 THE WOLF, 620 CKRM, my92.1 - Regina, Saskatchewan Tom Staseson

620 CKRM, MY92.1 and 104.9 the WOLF held their 13th Annual Children’s Hospital Radiothon on November 4th and 5th from Hill Tower II and raised an incredible $517,477.30. To date, the Radiothon has raised a total of more than 3.8 million dollars to help build and outfit the new children’s hospital located in Saskatoon, slated to open in 2019.

MY92.1 ran a contest mid-November giving listeners a chance to win an all expense paid trip to Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in Jamaica. To win, they had to be creative and take a selfie in front of the My92.1 billboard located just down the street from the MY92.1 studios. The winner was Katelyn Goodsman and her husband Daniel. She said it took all of her husband’s pride to dress as a snowman. They just got married in August and would love to go away for a honeymoon. They even had their luggage packed in the background of the picture. Pretty brave couple considering the day they posed for the selfie the temperature was -17! Hmmm ... just thinking about that brass monkey saying!

104.9 The WOLF presented the fourth annual “30 Deeds Done Dirt Cheap!” During the month of December, The WOLF on-air staff puts together a list of 30 deeds that inspire good in the community through the weeks leading up to Christmas. Each WOLF announcer took part and the deeds ranged from donating blood to sponsoring and serving a meal at Souls Harbour Rescue Mission. (pic-tured is Ballsy and his volunteer WOLF serving crew at Souls Harbour Rescue Mission on December 4th)

620 CKRM hosted the 27th annual Musical Christmas Card for MS. Every year, 620 CKRM plays holiday song requests over the first three Sundays in December for a donation to the MS Society. 620 CKRM’s Musical Christ-mas Card has raised more than $250,000 for the MS Society since 1988 and has become a beloved holiday tradition in many people’s homes.

100.7 CRUZ FM - Red Deer, Alberta Mary Leifhebber

Once again 100.7 Cruz FM was a proud sponsor of the Ensuite Tubs & Toys Campaign in support of the Red Deer Christmas Bureau. The call was made and our listeners once again were very generous in donating toys, ensuring every-one had a Merry Christmas.

We were also a Platinum Sponsor of the 22nd Annual Festival of Trees. This year, funds were raised to enhance patient care and services in the Medical Specialty Clinics at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Final numbers raised are not in but they are hoping to topple last year’s total where more than $1 mil-lion dollars was raised.

96.3 Cruz FM along with Mainline Chrysler and TLC @ Home held the 2nd annual “Sas-katoon’s Greatest Gifts for Kids” on Saturday November 21st at Lawson Heights Mall in Saskatoon. Cruz was live on location at the mall for the duration of the day, broadcasting live and taking donations of new unwrapped toys or cash, to be given to local less fortu-nate children. TLC @ Home puts together shoeboxes filled with necessities such as socks, toothbrushes, soap, mitts and toques, and thanks to Cruz… a toy! Over 900 less fortunate children in Saskatoon benefited from TLC @ Home this Christmas.

Every person who dropped off a toy or cash donation was entered to win 1 of 3 $500 Shopping Sprees at Lawson Heights Mall! At the end of the day, Cruz collected over $4,500 in cash, and a huge pile of toys! We look forward to our ongoing annual partner-ship with TLC @ Home.
