TCHS is now an Authorized Provider for the American Red Cross training and certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED for Adults and Infants as well as handling Bloodbourne Pathogens. We are in the process of certifying 40 students in our Health Science & Clinical Skills classes. During the summer, Catholic High renovated our Robotics Lab. Students now have the opportunity to build robots, rockets, and fly drones in our brand new, state-of-the-art Lab! (See more information on the next page.) As we begin our 79th year, we look forward to a wonderful 2018-2019 school year. We are excited about all of the events we have scheduled!
In October, we host our annual Alumnae Weekend, beginning with the Alumnae Awards on Friday, October 5th in the Sr. Francis Marie Yocum, OSF Auditorium with the student body and honored guests. Following the awards assembly, our TCHS JV and Varsity Volleyball teams take on St. John's at 4:00 and 5:30 PM. Our 2nd Annual Beef & Beer Social is from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on campus. In addition to beef and beer we are also serving pit turkey and wine. Come join in the fun and listen to live music from TCHS alumnae! The cost is $15.00.
On Saturday, October 6th, we have our Annual Alumnae Luncheon. All alumnae are welcome to attend as we honor and recognize the classes that are celebrating milestones. The day concludes with the Alumnae Memorial Mass at 4:00 pm.
We are also hosting the 6th Annual Green & Gold Run/Walk 5K on October 28th. This year features a new location- The Grand Lodge of Maryland in Hunt Valley!
Lastly, join us for a night of dining, dancing, and fundraising at our Annual Gala on November 2nd. This year’s theme is Cubs on Safari. The gala will be held at The Boumi Temple in White Marsh from 6:30-11:30 pm.
WHAT’S NEW AT CATHOLIC HIGH?Catholic High experienced many renovations and exciting additions over the summer. We saw the addition of new smart TVs and sound bars in all second floor classrooms, as well as the renovation of the second floor restroom and STEM/Robotics Lab. The incoming freshmen have also received brand new Chromebooks as part of our 1:1 technology initiative!
Catholic High was awarded the Truschel Foundation matching grant for the Robotics Lab modernization. Catholic High is extremely blessed and thankful that the Sisters of St. Francis matched the grant. Our students love the new state-of-the-art Theresa F. Truschel Robotics Lab! The Lab will be officially blessed and named on October 4, 2018, following the Feast of St. Francis Liturgy.
SAVE THE DATE FOR TCHS ALUMNAE SOCIALS
Guest Bartending Fundraising Event Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 6:00 pm at Jerry D's. Support TCHS on Giving Tuesday by gathering your friends to enjoy a night out! Catholic High alumnae are guest bartending throughout the evening. A percentage of the proceeds support the Alumnae Association Endowed Schol-arship Fund.

The Catholic High School of Baltimore asks for your continued support of our 2018-2019 Green & Gold Fund. The theme of the campaign is, “Be Empowered to Shine your Light to Transform the Lives of Young Women.” The funds help support various programs throughout the school.
Through your generosity, we are able to continue to provide financial aid, increase technology, maintain and enhance facilities, and provide students with an enriched education. All donors will be recognized in the 2018-2019 Annual Report.
