igh Resistance Formiline - HD/HW is a high pressure decorative laminate developed using special processes and aimed at horizontal applications, where it differs from conventional laminates by being four times as resistant to wear. High Resistance Formiline - HD/HW can be applied to counters in supermar kets, bars, snack bars and airports, laboratory benches and canteen tables. Composition It is made by impregnating cellulosic materials with thermostable resins, to make a slurry which is then compressed using heat and high pressures. Application Instructions The product can be applied to chipboard, MDF, plywood and solid wood, as long as the following precautions are taken: • These must always be high quality materials; • There can be no flaws in their surfaces; • They must be resistant to being glued to laminates; • Their surfaces must be free from dust, grease, oil etc; • Before gluing, the materials must be left at the place of application for at least 48 hours so that they can acclimatize. • The product must be applied using Formiline Contact Adhesive. Properties Its high technology manufacturing process gives High Resistance Formiline - HD/HW some properties that enable it to be widely used. These include: • High resistance to wear and to impact; • Resistance to staining and to attack by non-abrasive household chemical products; • Resistance to heat and boiling water; • Easy to clean and maintain; • Dimensional stability. Storage The product must be stored in a covered place, which is protected against bad weather, keeping it away from damp areas and out of direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
