The High Plains Kennel Club is offering bargain entry fees of $75.00 for pre-entry for four conformation shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or four entries of same dog in Obedience and Rally on Saturday and Sunday, $93.75 for 5 entries of same dog, or $150 for 8 entries of the same dog.

REMEMBER, entries must be received NO LATER than November 3, 2019. You must include payment; AND there must be NO omissions or illegible information on your entry in order to take advantage of these rates! Incorrect/incomplete entries will be returned, along with your payment. If the corrected entry is not received by November 3, 2019, your entry will be returned and not eligible for the bargain rate.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS This event is being hosted by the High Plains Kennel Club and is a United Kennel Club (UKC) licensed conformation shows and obedience and rally trials. All UKC rules and regulations will apply.

Entries to all UKC events for both licensed and non-licensed classes must be submitted using the most current official UKC forms.

Exhibitors through their submission of entry acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of the UKC rules and regulations.

The use of alcohol or illegal drugs at a UKC event is prohibited. Violators may be excused from the ring by the judge and from the show or event grounds by the Event Committee or any officer of the host club.

Dogs must be registered with the UKC to enter and have a permanent registration number, valid Temporary Listing (TL) or a Limited Privilege (LP) number as of the day of the event.

UKC exhibitors and spectators are expected to display good behavior and good sportsmanship in and out of the ring.

Exhibitors and handlers will be held responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and maintaining a clean crating and/or grooming area.

Any Items being sold on show grounds must be sold in a paid vendor space.

There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn after the closure date or in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of reason for dismissal.

Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $20.00 service charge on all returned checks. Parents or guardians are solely responsible for their children and are expected to keep them supervised and controlled at all times for their own safety.

High Plains Kennel Club will not be responsible for loss or damage to any dog exhibited or for the possessions of any exhibitor, whether the result be accident or another cause.

If, because of riots, civil disturbances, weather or other act beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete this show, NO refund of entry fees will be made. Ribbons and Awards

Ribbons will be awarded to all Conformation, Obedience, Rally and Junior Handler classes. Rosettes will be awarded to the following classes: Best in Multi-Breed Show, Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, Best of Breed, Altered Best in Multi-Breed Show and Altered Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, Best Junior Handler, High in Trial Obedience, High Combined Obedience, High in Trial Rally, Total Dog and New Title (anyone completing a new title should notify the Event Secretary before the event is over). In addition to rosettes, BIMBS, RBIMBS, Altered BIMBS, RBIMBS, and High in Trial, will receive certificates commemorating the event.

The Fairgrounds is centrally located between Denver and Colorado Springs, one mile east of Interstate 25 at Castle Rock Exit 181. Directions from the North: Take I-25 south to the Plum Creek Exit #181. Turn left at the signal onto Plum Creek Parkway. Go east on Plum Creek Parkway, approximately one mile to Fairgrounds Road (the 3rd signal light). Turn left on Fairgrounds Road. Directions from the South: Take I-25 north to the Plum Creek Exit #181. Turn right onto Plum Creek Parkway at the signal light. Go east on Plum Creek Parkway, approximately one mile to Fairgrounds Road. Turn left on Fairgrounds Road.
