High Performance Leadership for FTDL Managers

This programme is designed for managers and supervisors in freight, transport and distribution and logistics(FTDL) who want to achieve the next level of effectiveness in leading individuals and teams to sustained high performance.

The learning group on the programme you join will be developed to become a trusted resource for on-going leadership development beyond the scope of the programme while you will also have free lifelong membership of the Ex2 Social Learning Community and our Engaging Leadership Academy.

Course Format

On the High Performance Leadership for FTDL Managers Programme, we take a ‘conversational’ approach where we respond to the information, issues and development needs highlighted in our conversations with both participants and key stakeholders. As a result, this course will be bespoke to each group of learners.

Day 2: Fit for High Performance

Day 3: Building Productive Relationships

Day 4: Maximising Team Performance

Day 5: Leadership Masterminds

Over the 5 Day High Performance Leadership for FTDL Managers, participants will receive:

Course Duration: 5 days over 10 weeks

AimBy the end of this 5 day High Performance Leadership Programme, participants will be able to increase the performance and competitiveness of their team and organisation by building productive relationships through enhanced leadership and communication skills.

Learning Outcomes• Identify the drivers and blockers of personal, team

and organisational performance and create a strategy for high performance in own team

• Creating powerful personal and organisational strategies to drive greater results through well-being, time and stress management both personally and for employees

• Knowing how best to communicate with and influence others and creating specific strategies to build highly productive relationships across their organisation

• Assess impact of own leadership style on others and develop a strategy to create a team and organisational culture where innovation, creativity and pursuit of excellence is the norm

• Establish an effective ‘challenge’ function in own team or organisation to drive critical thinking, problem anticipation and problem solving for high performance
