Set in a bright swing style, the rhythm section should lock in and holdthe tempo throughout. As always, attention to articulations and dynam-ics are important to the success of the performance.

This chart features Kendor Konvertible instrumentation which allows itto be played by as few as 9 players, up to a full group instrumentation.Optional parts are provided for flute, clarinet, horn in f, tuba and vibes.

The solo section at measure 37 can be played by any soloist, with solosheets provided in all keys which includes a sample written solo andscales that can be used to encourage young players to create their ownsolo. Background figures may be cued in and out as desired.
