Hi everyone, This is your home learning timetable for this week. Please complete any work in your Home Learning Book. Don’t
worry if you can’t print things out at the moment, take photos or let us know what you’ve been up to by email if
that’s easier.

Maths Reading
Writing and Phonics Don’t forget to spot or talk about capital letters, finger
spaces, phonics and full stops!
Wider Curriculum We’re going to learn about some different artists this week!
Monday
Retrieval! Odd and Even Dominoes
You will need:
-A pack of dominoes or print out
the dominoes from the blog.
- Two sorting circles drawn onto
pieces of paper or two tubs, one
labelled ‘Odd’ and the other labelled ‘Even’
Start with the dominoes face down, turn over a domino and
find the total number of dots. Is it an odd or even number?
Sort all of the dominoes in this way. You could do this as a
time trial activity to try and get even faster at recognising
odd and even numbers!
Read one of
your books on
Bug Club or one
of your favourite
books or
magazines to an
adult.
AND
Listen to a story
read by one of
your adults OR a
story online, e.g.
Oxford Owls,
CBeebies
Bedtime stories.
OR
Practise some of
your high
frequency or
tricky words
(Practical ideas
on the class
blog)
Don’t forget
you’ve also got
your ‘Teach Your
Monsters to
Read’ to have a
go at.
As we come to the end of our time in Foundation
Stage we are going to think about our time and
how we have grown and changed!
Can you have a think about how you have
changed as you have grown and developed?
What can you do now that you couldn’t before
when you were a baby and a toddler compared
to now?
There is a template on the blog to draw and write
on!
We’re going to make a time capsule!
We have lived through history and we will alsways remember this
strange time where we had to stay at home! Can you make a time
capsule with your family to remember the time you have spent
together during lockdown?
This is a link to a printout you can fill in and use to help you plan what
will go in your capsule!
Where will you bury it?
Make a collection of some things that will remind you about your time
in lockdown, for example, the rainbow you made for your window, a
piece of school clothing you may have outgrown whilst not at school,
a picture of you and your family at home in lockdown, a shopping list
of essential items your parents or carers used for their essential shop, a
toy that you played with lots and place these in your capsule too so
that when you dig it up in the future you have things from this time to
help you remember your time in lockdown!
You could make a video of yourself and your family talking about what
it is like to be in lockdown what you have done whilst at home, show
some things you have made or done during this time, places you have
visited, new skills you have learnt, your favourite song or tv show? You
could save it to a USB and place it in your capsule!
Tuesday
Domino Addition
You will need a pack of dominoes, or
print out the dominoes from the blog.
Turn the dominoes face down.
Two people turn over a domino and
work out the total of the dots on the
domino.
Can you write the number sentence to match? The player
with the biggest number is the winner!
To make it trickier, turn over two dominoes and find the
total.
What has been your favourite thing to do in
Foundation Stage? What have you enjoyed most
about your time in FS2? What has been your
favourite topic that we have learnt about? What
was your favourite area to play in? Did you enjoy
our performances? Meeting your buddies?
Wednesday
Domino Board Game You will need:

space
Follow the rules on the board game and have fun!
Please note, there is some problem solving involved with this
board game so please model a trial and improvement
approach if you get stuck and have another go!

Friday
Fun Fridays! Learning through play and exploration
Play with your toys, learn a new song or dance, build something outside or create an obstacle course!
Play a board game or bat and ball, build with your Lego or set up a pretend school… There is so much learning and brain development that goes on when children play.
Lucky Dip
If children are struggling to decide what to play, set up a lucky dip bag full of play activities and pick one out.
Dominoes Stick onto a cardboard box, such as a cereal box and then cut
the dominoes out so that they last a bit longer.
