collection Hours: 7:50- 3:20

HOW DO I VISIT THE LMC DURING THE SCHOOL DAY?
STUDY HALL REQUEST PASS
LUNCH CLASSROOM VISITS
STUDY HALL VISITS4 Obtain a pass from the LMC~ get pass prior to scheduled
study hall.4 LMC will be open directly before and after-school for passes.4 Each study hall is limited to a certain number of visitors. Once
the sign-up sheet is full, there will be no more passes available for that period. First come, first serve.
4 Report to study hall first. When you get to the LMC, sign-in at the front desk.
4 3-4 students to each round table- sit on right-hand side of room.
4 Study hall students will remain in the LMC for the entire period.
4 Students not working will be sent back to study hall.
OPEN PERIODS WILL BE POSTED ON THE DRY ERASE BOARD BEFORE ENTERING
THE LMC DOORS.
REQUEST PASS From a Classroom:4 A signed request pass from your subject area
teacher or LMC Staff is needed.4 Report to study hall first.4 Sign-in and place your pass in the basket.
4 The LMC will attempt to accommodate request passes during closed periods.
4 Students not working will be sent back to class.
LUNCH PASS
Sign-out a Green Pass from the LMC Staffbefore lunch
Go to the cafeteria and eat your lunch first
Upon arriving to the LMC, sign-in and place your pass in the basket
Remain in the LMC for the entire period
Must be working!!

FOOD or DRINKS Are NOT Allowed in the LMC.
* Water is permitted.
CIRCULATION GUIDELINES Sign materials out at front desk.
BOOKS ~ two weeksMAGAZINES ~ three days
REFERENCE/RESERVE~ Checked out after 9th period. Returned the following morning.
Bring your student ID!
If overdues exist, no materials may circulate. Please respond to overdue notices!
There is a charge for lost or damaged materials.

Magazines- Newest issue on display Books-
Search by keyword, title, author, subject, series
Get book reviews, summaries, author notesSearch from homeSearch in any classroom
LOCATION OF MATERIALS FICTION- FIC right-side when enter A-Z NON-FICTION- 900 ABC left-side when enter,
starts in back of LMC GRAPHIC NOVELS- GN small section on left-
side BIOGRAPHIES- BIO 92 or 920 wall by fish tank REFERENCE- REF lower book shelves middle DICTIONARIES- 400’s ABC- stand in back VIDEOS/DVDS- VCT, DVD- behind circ desk BOOKS ON CD, TAPE- CT, CD- behind circ desk
COMPUTER PROCEDURES Internet is for research purposes.

COPY MACHINE
A copy machine is available in the LMC.
Please see an LMC staff member or Library Club member
for assistance.
SCANNING AND PRINTING The LMC has a scanner available
for student and staff use. Students may choose to print to
either the B&W (4000) or the Color (4600) printer.
PLEASE ask before printing multiple pages!
LIBRARY CLUB Library Club- assigned to work/help in the
LMC during study hall periodsDuties include:
check materials in and out making copies for students assist in retrieving books & magazines organize magazine racks assist on computers/scanning pictures help decorate/set up displays shelf-read and more….
