WHAT IS FBLA? Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the premiere organization for students preparing for careers in business. Through FBLA, members gain the competitive edge for college and career success. By taking advantage of the many programs FBLA offers, students acquire the skills that will set them apart from the average high school student. Members learn through participating in a variety of activities that help them build their skills, while contributing to the improvement of the community in which they live, their school, and their chapter. WHY JOIN FBLA? FBLA promotes leadership development at district, state and national levels. Participating in FBLA conferences offers members the opportunity to form useful and lasting networks. Members come in contact with district, state and/or national staff. These contacts foster a better understanding of the FBLA-PBL program. Our FBLA members have the opportunity to attend a variety of events throughout the year including: regularly scheduled weekly meetings, chapter events like a holiday party and end-of-year officer induction, the District and possibly State Fall

Leadership Conference, and District and State Competitions. WHO CAN JOIN? Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in a career in business, is eligible for membership. Membership cost $30 annually; covering the cost of district, state and national dues, a district t-shirt, and competition fees, as well as a copy of “Tomorrow’s Business Leader”, an FBLA publication that is sent out twice a year.
