Directly - Taxpayers are paying millions every year to maintain clean streets. The direct cost of keeping our streets clean is reaching almost £1billion a year!

Indirectly - Research shows that neglected streets can have an adverse effect on any area, with crime levels cited worst amongst litter strewn neighbourhoods. The financial contribution of litter to crime is estimated to cost the UK £328 million a year!

Environmentally - With Landfill Tax set to rise to £85 per tonne; waste disposal sites are pushed to find new innovative ways to reduce the amount of rubbish we produce. By segregating litter at source, as well as household waste - each council can recieve a £25 rebate (per tonne) and achieve an overall cost ‘saving’ as no waste charge would be incurred. Making the option to recycle a financial and environmentally saving solution.

Street Boss is the NEW multi-functional sustainable litter collection system – designed in partnership with Street Cleansing operatives.

Encompassing a range of practical solutions for daily cleansing tasks; including the innovative ‘Pick & Push’ feature - designed to allow continuous handling and operational comfort thanks to an ergonomic ‘Y-dee’ protection handle.

Highly manoeuvrable and easy to use, Street Boss has puncture proof tyres for added longevity and stability across uneven surfaces, and an integrated safety brake designed to support work on gradients, hill or slopes unlike conventional barrows.

The Street Boss loading system comprises of two Handi Hoop Plus sack retentions units for quick removal; each with the capacity to carry 100 litres, giving the operator the option to segregate litter at street level. The systems’ unique tool storage facilities increase productivity - allowing the operative to undertake a range of cleansing tasks for litterpicking, to sweeping, bio hazard collection, detritus and dog fouling removal.

As an integral feature of both Street Boss and Handicart, the Handi Hoop Plus can also be used independently as a portable bag opener and as a key component for recycling on the go.

Combining a solid lightweight aluminium frame with a specially designed ergonomic handle, the bag opener withstands long periods of continuous use and is robust enough to carry 100 litre of collected waste.

Handi Hoop Plus is the ideal companion for detritus collection, with an integrated scoop/sweep function and extra wide opening, making light work of waste collection.
