Shadows� e Brigand has many Hero cards that allow him to gain Shadows. While in Shadows, the Brigand cannot be targeted by enemy attacks and can only use cautious movement. Some Hero cards require the Brigand to be in Shadows in order to play them.

If an enemy is activated while adjacent to the Brigand and the Brigand is in Shadows, the enemy rolls a notice check. � e TN for the notice check is listed on the Hero card providing Shadows X, where X is the TN. If the check succeeds, the Brigand loses Shadows. � e Brigand also loses Shadows after resolving a successful attack.

ComboSome of the Brigand’s cards have the Combo keyword. � is means that the cards are played together and completely resolved before determining whether or not the Brigand loses Shadows. Hero cards may also provide bonus dice when resolving a Combo, listed in the range and damage section of the card.
