Parent Consultations Our first parent consultations of the session will take place on Friday 6 th October 1.00pm – 3.30pm and Tuesday 10 th October 6.00pm – 8.30pm. Letters have been sent asking you to choose your preference. We will try wherever possible to accommodate requests. In order for us to organise the appointment times, can you please ensure that the slips are returned to us by tomorrow morning at the latest. This is an opportunity for you to formally meet your child’s class teacher and discuss progress. It is useful if your child attends this meeting so that they can be part of the conversation. Moving to Email Communication We will be moving to email communication after the October holidays, however notice that a large number of parents/carers have still to register for our new ParentPay system. It is important that we use this system to ensure confidentiality of parent email addresses. Can I therefore please urge you to register as soon as possible if you have not already done so. Please contact Sarah Reid in the office who will issue you with new log-in details. After the October holidays we will not be sending out paper copies of this newsletter however it can still be accessed on our website every week. Nursery NewsThis week in nursery the afternoon pupils enjoyed a visit from the P5 buddies for Buddy afternoon. We will arrange for some of the P5s to come in the morning too. The buddies played and read stories. It was a lovely experience for all.
Nursery parent consultations will begin the week commencing Monday 9th October. There will be a sheet in the cloakroom from Monday with various times to choose. Please sign your name against a time.
Your child’s Christmas card order should be returned no later than Wednesday 4 th October .
Can we please remind everyone to close all gates leading to the nursery. There have been occasions recently where gates have been left open. This poses a high safety risk to our children. Thank you.
School Association Beetle DriveThe School Association Beetle Drive took place on Monday and great fun was had by all. I’m delighted to tell you that a total of £240 was raised on the evening. Thank you once again for all the hard-work of the committee members and helpers on the night.
