itage “Beyond birth and death, constant and eternal, is the soul”

Mahabharata: ancient Indian epic.

The epic poem tells how, before the battle in which the Kauravas were going to fight the Pandavas, Lord Krishna wisely answered the archer Arjuna’s questions on the reasons for war and for death ... The dialogue between the two, addressing great ethical dilemmas, gave rise to this sublime High Porcelain composition.

In this scene charged with symbolism, Lladró artists have deployed the whole arsenal of their technical and creative resources. The painstaking ornamental work combines glazed and matte porcelain finishes, golden luster and metallic treatments that enhance different parts of the costumes, the chariot and the horses.

Gita Saar is a limited edition of 299 units by the sculptor Francisco Polope. The impeccable treatment of porcelain by Lladró artists makes it the perfect material to tell the story of the lessons on life and death Krishna gave to the brave archer Arjuna.
