Welcome to our 36th Annual Simmental, Sim-Angus & Angus Production Sale!

It’s amazing how quick a calendar year can fly by. It seems like yesterday that we sat down to write this letter. We were very pleased with the feedback from last year’s sale. It varied from calves setting down the scales at weaning time, new offspring that all the visitors loved, and success in the show-ring. Each year we strive to make our quality of cattle increase, and take pride in offering cattle that can work in several different programs. Look through the pictures, come out and see them in person, if you have been to the sale before it won’t take you long to discover that this is our best set yet! We welcome both previous and new customers to call with any questions or to come out and see the cattle in person. Every year on sale day, it’s always great to see the repeat customers that have been here from start and those that have been coming for several years. It is because of our loyal customer base that we can do what we love and offer these cattle, so thank you. Thank you for your interest in our sale, we look forward to seeing you, both customers new and old on sale day! Every year, our open heifers sold on the sale are eligible for a futurity show held mid-summer at the Ruth Farm following the sale. With $1500 of total winnings over 9 places, this is a very worthwhile event. The winnings can then be redeemed at the following year’s sale as credit. The futurity is not limited to just 4-H and FFA members. It is open to anybody purchasing heifers at our sale. We hope everyone can make plans to attend the 36th annual Blue River Gang Sale.
