(60% strongly agreed). 79.4% Technology is important for teaching in my discipline. 71.9% Instructional technology should be a high priority for Hendrix. Significant Differences by Rank & Area Junior faculty are more likely to believe that IT should be a priority. Humanities faculty are less likely to believe technology is important for teaching in their disciplines. 6. Only 28.6% agreed (including strongly) with the statement, I know how to find what IT services and products we have at Hendrix. Junior faculty are significantly less sure of how to find this. Only 17.2% agreed (including strongly) with the statement, I know what instructional technologies other Hendrix faculty use. 6.3% agreed (including strongly), I know how to find funding for the technological needs I have for my teaching. 8. INSTRUCTIONAL TECH PORTAL Our Instructional Technology Portal is being redesigned for easier visibility, containing expanded information on what instructional resources are available, and where on campus these resources may be found. 22. DIGITAL ARTS LAB A new Digital Arts Lab has been created in the Art Complex (Art 111), for three new courses being taught this Fall. 23. 3D PRINTER A MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer now resides in the Electronics Lab in MC Reynolds. We are planning to add an additional 3D Printer for general student use this Fall, to be located in the Oathout Technology Center. 24. INCREASED BANDWIDTH This September, our Internet circuit will be upgraded from 200Mbits to 1Gbit (a five-fold increase).
