Community TrusteeThe Community Trustee program is a premier membership package which is available at a cost of $4,000 annually. Community Trustees receive all the benefits listed below:

Associate TrusteeThe Associate Trusteeship is a supporting level membership program, which is available at a cost of $2,500 annually. Associate Trustees receive all the benefits listed below:

• Includes all membership dues and standard membership benefits• Have first right to move up to Community Trustee level, the premier membership program at the

The South Lake Business Awards is the premier business awards program in the South Lake area. This event will be attended by over 200 people and starts with a cocktail hour on Bella Collina’s ballroom patio over looking the beautiful grounds of the club, followed by a program which includes the:

• Best Of South Lake Awards• Citizen of the Year Award. This award honors a South

Lake resident who has displayed extraordinary dedication to the community.• Oakley Seaver Special Service Award. This award honors a nonprofit business, club, organization, educational institution or healthcare facility that has contributed significantly to the community and created a lasting impact or benefit.• Heritage Award. This award honors recognizes businesses or organizations that have shown continued contributions to the business community. The nominee must have been active in the community for 25 years or more.

Teacher Appreciation BreakfastAugust 7 and 8, 20177:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Wesley Center at the First United Methodist Church

The Teacher Appreciation Breakfast thanks South Lake’s teachers for all they do. This exciting event is attended by over 1,200 teachers and includes a breakfast buffet and program that includes a spirit award, great raffle prizes and goodie bags for each teacher. One lucky school each day will also win a gift card to an office supply company! All of South Lake’s elementary school teachers will be honored on August 7, and all of South Lake’s middle and high school teachers will be honored on August 8.

Taste of South LakeNovember 2, 2017

5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.Clermont’s Waterfront Park

This annual, expo style event is attended by over 700 people and is in its seventh year. During the event, over 30 restaurants offer free samples of their signature dishes and 50 businesses showcase what they can do for South Lake. There is live music and awards given in the categories of:

• Best Appetizer• Best Entrée• Best Dessert• Best Drink• Best Decorated Booth• People’s Choice

Hob NobSummer 2018

The Hob Nob is a unique event that gives voters the opportunity to meet face to face with political candidates running for office on the local, state and national levels. Attendees can also participate in a straw ballot poll. This free event is open to the public and attended by more than 500 voters.
