Helping countries get “back to business” safely

As governments move on from strict regional lockdowns, authorities and health institutions will need to operate controls to validate individual circumstances, faster and more accurately than before. To enable citizen mobility and reboot economies while mitigating against further spikes, governments are urgently exploring solutions, like issuing plastic “health passports” or wristbands. Meanwhile, COVID-19 testing capacity is expanding fast and the blizzard of result data, accelerating. Already the status of an individual is far more complex and nuanced than just their point-in-time infection status.

An individual’s risk, vulnerability, criticality to front line services or economic traction, all need to be assessed remotely, refreshed frequently, issued securely and managed collaboratively. To enable a managed recovery, a dynamic system is key. One that immutably links an individual’s identity to their fundamental health attributes at a given point in time. One that provides certainty to any relying party that the bearer of the digital passport is who they claim to be.


Health status registration

After ‘flattening the curve’ of Covid-19 infections, governments need to consider how to relax quarantine restrictions in a manageable way.

Central to this recovery process is to understand the health status of the citizen and to issue digital “health passports” according to status to enable managed citizen mobility.

Digital health passports are delivered directly to the citizens smartphone and colour coded according to status.
