Know that their pain has passed, except for how it lives in your memory.

You may be disoriented, depressed and forgetful.
These things are normal with grief and will pass.

Denying sadness denies healing.
By letting your heart break you let your heart heal.

Guilt and grief can take many forms,
but few of us know exactly
what to do in the face of the
death of a loved one.

You may hear their sounds and see them in the shadows.
and your heart will break,
You will forget they are gone and then remember again…
one more time.

Some deaths are untimely, violent and complicated – leaving behind difficult and unresolved issues.
There is peace in letting go of what you cannot control.

Ordinary things may strike you as amusing, embrace laughter when and where you can.

… applied with tenderness and compassion.
The remedies for grief are time, courage and love…

Grief is a process that ebbs and flows and healing has its own timeline
– it is a part of our journey that never truly ends.

Death is perfectly natural. It is a doorway we will all go through, each in our own time.

Some moments you may feel intensely alive –
remember that life springs from death.
