Infant School. We hopeyou enjoy finding out

about us.

I’m Mrs Hardyand I’m the

Headteacher

We have 6classrooms and there are

30 children in eachclass. Our youngestchildren are 4 yearsold and our oldest

children are 7.

We learn phonics,literacy and maths

every morning. In theafternoons we do

art, PE, RE, scienceand music.

We learn aboutgeography and history

too.

We arewriting a

story.

We’re doingour mathswork here!

In the afternoonwe do our artwork. We are

making African animalmasks here.

Here we are at our Maths Workshop – some of our mums and dads came to help us. We used lots of different things and played games to help us learn

about fractions and measuring.

Every morning wehave playtime. We play with

our friends on ourplayground. Sometimes we

play football or we playon our adventure trail

and climbing wall.

At lunchtime we eatlunch in our dining

room. Some childrenbring a packed

lunch from homeand some havea school meal

cooked by our schoolcook.

Every week we go into our Wildlife Garden to learn outside. In our pond we have frogs and

newts – we try to catch them with our nets and then we put them back in the water when we

have looked at them.
