At what level do we budget?
• Distell is manufacturing company, with detailed complex costing & multiple pricing procedures.
• Full BASE PLAN is calculated on the lowest level (same as billing), on the in memory HANA data base.
• Once released to the business, the regions can make delta volume changes on any level,
and it will disaggregate again to lowest level again on save, and recalculate
the latest Financial Result.
• Price Planning is enabled on exactly the same levels as used in SAP ERP.
• COGS can be increased per component (i.e raw material components, bottles, labels, etc), and
the planned cost rate per material will be recalculated, based on each planned material cost estimate.
