HELLO PARENTS AND YOUTH Summer Camp 2016 is coming up on July 29th - July 31st.

We won’t be doing the typical summer camp this year, in-

stead Calvary Chapel Santee and Hosanna City Church will

be joining together for a “Surf-&-Serve” trip in Baja Mexico.

This is a combination summer camp and mission trip, which

will give us the opportunity to not only hear the Word but to

live it out in service as well!

What we’ll do: This trip will be divided up with half the time devoted to serving by doing vari-

ous work projects and visiting local orphanages, and the other half will be teaching sessions,

small group discussions, and of course fun activities and the beach (with free surf lessons). The

theme is “More than Conquerors” and we’ll be studding Romans Chapter 8.

Where we’ll be: We’ll staying a large church in La Misión Baja Mx. called “Templo Christiano

Elim.” It’s a large facility with 4 large dorm rooms, dinning hall and sanctuary, all within a secured

property. La Misión is a small rural, costal town south of Rosarito. It is a very safe area and both

churches have many years of experience bringing teams of youth and adults to this area.

PERMISSION SLIPS: Fill out and return Permission Slips by Wednesday June 6th.

PAYMENT: Cost, $130. Includes transportation, a t-shirt and all meals (accept one “taco night,”

bring $5-$10). Money due Wed. July 6th. Scholarships available, ask for applications.

PASSPORT: Passports are not required to cross the border for anyone under 18, as long as you

have an original copy of your birth certificate and a photo id (School id works). But

we encourage you to get a passport if you can, get all the info at: pptform.state.gov

SCHEDULE: Hosanna City Church: Meet at church, Wed. July 27th at 11am.

Calvary Chapel Santee: Meet at church, Wed. July 27th at 3pm.

We’ll be returning on Sun. July 31st around 6pm-7pm depending on traffic.

I, THE UNDERSIGNED, AM AWARE THAT DURING THE CALVARY CHAPEL SANTEE PRACTICUM, certain risks and dangers may occur which are out of the control of Calvary Chapel Santee and/or its organizers. As part of participating in said practicum, I have and do hereby assume all the risks and will hold Calvary Chapel Santee and its affiliates, workers and employees harmless from any liability, actions, suits, legal or otherwise.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Calvary Chapel Santee and/or its organizers be held responsible for:

1. Illness, death, accidents or injury;2. Delays, personal injury, property damage or any loss resulting from so-called “Acts of God”, act of

public enemies, arrest or restraint of any government, seizure under legal process, quarantines,restrictions, riots, civil commotions, strikes, war hazards or terrorist activities;

3. Loss of personal property, possessions or monies;4. Any act of neglect of any person or company whose services are trained by Calvary Chapel Santee for
