On Saturday I was at a party, he was my friend's birthday. This event took plaein the irthday "lub, where people or#ani$e birthday to all. %ll the #uests werevery nie and I met lots of wonderful people. The irthday "lub, everythin# isolorful. There was a very lar#e table, where there was plenty of deliious food.

&verywhere were small, artiial (yin# elves, and they (ew to the olorful(owers.

It was wonderful! )irst, we daned, but then people from the "lub irthday fun#ames we did. I won in two #ames* the transition into a rope, and danin# witha partner in the newspaper.

 Then there was the meal.

%t the end they let us have one son# and we had to #o home. eause me andmy friend+the one who had a birthday, in whih we live lose to#ether, on theirway to our homesare still talkin# about this event.

&l sbado estuve en una esta, /ue era el umplea0os de mi ami#o. &steevento tuvo lu#ar en el "lub de umplea0os, umplea0os, donde la #ente seor#ani$a para todos. Todos los hu1spedes eran muy a#radable y me enontr1on un mont2n de #ente maravillosa. &l lub de umplea0os, todo es olorido.

Hab3a una mesa muy #rande, donde hab3a un mont2n de deliiosa omida. &ntodas partes eran pe/ue0os elfos, artiiales /ue vuelan, y volaron a las (oresde olores.

)ue maravilloso! &n primer lu#ar, bailamos, pero lue#o la #ente de losdivertidos 4ue#os de lub de umplea0os /ue hiimos. He #anado en dospartidos* la transii2n a una uerda, y bailar on una pare4a en el peri2dio.

5ue#o estaba la omida.

%l nal nos de4aron una ani2n y tuvimos /ue volver a asa. 6or/ue yo y miami#o +el /ue ten3a un a0o de vida, en el /ue vivimos 4untos, en su aminohaia nuestra homesare sin de4ar de hablar aera de este evento.

I should like to make you a proposition! hat would you think about

spending a few days together, you and I, during this aster break" My

parents will let me have their log cabin, which is up in the hills near

#onda. It is situated $ kilometres from the town on a hillside with

wonderful views of the valley. It's very rustic, basic and has no central

heating but it comes fully e%uipped, clean and has a cosy fireplace.

I should think that as you live in the big city you would love to spend a few

days in the country, wouldn't you" e need not worry about the cleaning

during our stay; my parents rely on a cleaning woman, a neighbour, who

will help us with the housework.

I have all of the aster week free, so you can choose the days that suit

you best. &all me or write to me to let me know your reply. s you know,
