Hello! I'm serving in my fifth year with FOCUS as a Regional

Director for the East Region and falling more and more in love

with our Lord every day. I hope you join me in walking toward

Heaven together -- it sure is a great adventure! My freshman

year in college, I was deeply impacted by Jesus and His love for

me through the Sacraments of the Church. Through these years

of exploration, curiosity, and openness, I realized how much

God was calling me to serve other college students who were

facing change, discernment, and big choices for the rest of their

lives. What a gift it is to live on mission to bring souls, specifi-

cally on the East coast, to Jesus Christ and His Church during

this crucial point in their lives! Please pray for the Team Direc-

tors and teams I get to coach: NYU, West Conn, UCONN,

Brown, Assumption, and UMASS! As a Regional Director, I

help cast vision for these campuses and cooperate with chaplains

and campus ministry to allow evangelization to thrive for souls

we are serving.

Jesus completely ROCKED my world in November of 2011. Growing up Catholic, I had many misunder-

standings about why I believed what I was taught for so long. It wasn't until my freshman year at a conference

during Eucharistic adoration that Christ overflowed my heart, mind, and everything in between. After praying

through this encounter, our Lord knew He had to continue these encounters for me to allow it all to soak in

(It's Jesus... so He knows I'm a little stubborn). By April of 2012, I was sold out for Jesus and my Catholic

faith -- something that became so real, filled with truth, beauty, and goodness. I continue falling more in love

with Christ and my relationship with Him daily. He has become the center of all that I do, and has given me

the passion to share Him everywhere I go!

The Knights of the Altar of St.

Joseph is a men’s group that meets

monthly in the Catholic churches in

our surrounding area. This group

is for men and their sons ages 12

and up for prayer and faith sharing.

The men pray the Holy Rosary in

front of the Blessed Sacrament.

This is a wonderful opportunity for

all men to grow closer to God and

to rediscover their calling as men

and fathers of Almighty God. We

look forward to seeing you there.

All men are welcome at any time!

The food pantry operates each 2nd and 4th Saturday of the

month at 9:00a.m. in an effort to help the less fortunate of

God’s children in our community. Thanks be to God, our Food

Pantry is now the largest in Eastern New Mexico! Anyone in-

terested in volunteering, please come at 8:30AM or call Rosie

Buchan at 575-309-5040 for further information.

We are in need of volunteer drivers for food box

deliveries as well as help Friday mornings.

The Food Pantry is in need of the following items:

Crackers, pasta noodles, cookies, peanut butter and canned

soup.
