Water

• The Nile river is the largest river in the world.Water was a great recourse because it had fresh water to drink,it had a great source of fish.The Nile river runs south to north.The Nile river goes to the Mediterranean Sea.Every summer the Nile River flooded its banks.The floodwaters soaked the ground and the water left behind a small part of very rich soil was left behind.

Deserts• Deserts were natural

barriers against invaders. Vegetation is scarce in deserts. The climate was very hot and dry. Deserts didn’t support large settlements and very few people wanted to cross them.

many rows of vegetation.All the farmers had vegetation.Flat land between the bends of rivers were great because they got annually flooded by the Nile River. The Nile river flooded each year leaving behind very rich soil.

• Pharaohs were in the higest respect.Pharaoh Kufu ruled from 2551 to 2528 b.c.e .Not much is known about Kufu.Some say he was a cruel person,others say he was kind and kindhearted.

• Often when people died in Egypt they got mummified. Sometimes cats got mummified. During the mummification the people got special charms to go with them to the underworld.
