HEINZMANN’s complete systems for the e-bike market

Top performerSchönau, July 2012 - They are quiet, efficient, innovative and made in Germany: The electric drives from HEINZMANN get e-bikes and pedelecs moving. A large number of big-name companies are placing their trust in the system expertise of HEINZMANN and using the tried-and-tested high-quality drives from the Black Forest in their new products.

The name HEINZMANN has long been associated with innovative drive solutions for e-bikes and pedelecs. The traditional company from the Black Forest region showed its commitment to this environmentally-friendly form of mobility from a very early stage, developing high-quality products and trendsetting solutions with passion and dedication.

HEINZMANN offers its customers from the e-bike segment a wide range of high-performance motors and coordinated components, including special orders. A selection of these products will be presented at EUROBIKE 2012 (Hall A 6, Stand number 210). E-bikes will be available to test drive on open area ZW-204.

The technology experts from Schönau attach particular importance to selecting and optimising the required system components. Only then can the customer benefit from the highest possible flexibility when developing and designing their modular drive systems. In short: we provide a customer-specific e-bike model where everything fits perfectly together.

The new direct drive generation: HEINZMANN DirectPower

The HEINZMANN direct drives in the DirectPower series (Fig. 2) have been specially developed to fulfil the requirements of the e-bike market. They impress with their outstanding torque, are fitted with state-of-the-art technology and can drive either the front or rear wheel as desired.

In conjunction with coordinated components - control, display, li-ion battery and torque sensor – a HEINZMANN drive becomes an optimised complete system that is guaranteed to impress in all e-bike disciplines. As design also plays a key role for the end customer in the decision to purchase, the drives are available in several colour and design versions.

All-rounder with tried-and-tested technology: HEINZMANN Classic drive

The HEINZMANN Classic bicycle drive (Fig. 3) has proven its suitability for everyday use a thousand times over. It comes with robust technology and can be used in a variety of different applications, such as mail deliveries or for rehabilitation purposes.

It has been improved further still by optimising individual components: The powerful DC motor offers even power development with economical use of the battery capacity. Powerful torques are achieved with the built-in gear, which offers the rider maximum support, even during uphill travel or with increased loads.

HEINZMANN: sought-after development partner worldwideIn addition to wheel hub motors, the HEINZMANN portfolio also includes brushless synchronous motors for OEM customers and the industrial sector, as well as hybrid systems for special applications. The product range spans from pedelec drives with power from 250 W to synchronous motors up to 30 kW and hybrid drives up to 60 kW.
