Aftersuccessfulregistration,applicantscannowaccesstheHECASonlineform.TheHECASonlineformhas3mainsectionsnamelySectionA:PersonalDetails,SectionB:AcademicAchievements

andSectionC:ApplicationsinOrderofPreference.STEP2lSECTIONA:PERSONALDETAILSi) Applicantsmustentertheirpersonaldetailsintheformprovidedandmakesureallcompulsory

fields(markedwith*)arefilledin. OnceSectionAiscompleted,scrolldowntocontinuewithSectionBandSectionC.

i) Click “AddExaminationResult” button to select qualification type, followby the subject code

andname,gradeobtainedandyearobtained.

ii) Once the button is clicked, a window will appear for applicants to select and enter their

qualifications.Continueclickingthe“AddExaminationResult”untilapplicantshavecompletedenteringallqualifications.

iii) For applicants with Diploma or technical certificates, they can enter their qualifications byclickingon“AddDiploma/TechnicalCertificateResult”button.

iv) AwindowwillappearforapplicantstoselectandentertheirDiplomaortechnicalqualifications.

v) ApplicantscanentertheresultoftheirIELTS/TOEFL/InternationalBaccalaureate/GeneralPaper/STPUBOverallResultintheboxprovided.

vi) For qualifications not listed in Section B, applicants can type their results in the ‘OtherExaminationResults’boxprovidedinSectionBbyincludingthesedetails:

i) Applicantsmustselectandentertheirprogrammeschoicesintheorderoftheirpreference,i.e.the first (1st) choicewouldbe themostpreferredby theapplicant, followedby lesspreferredprogrammesassecondchoice,thirdandsoon.

ii) Theselection“ScholarshipSectionMOE”isonlyavailableforYellowICholders.Makesureyou

haveenteredyour ICcolour(yellow) inSectionAforthisselectiontobeavailable. ApplicantscanonlyselectONEprogrammeforoverseasscholarshipunderScholarshipSectionMOE.

iii) Applicants who wish to apply for overseas scholarship MUST also apply for at least ONEprogrammeofferedbylocalhighereducationinstitutions.

iv) Applicants could reduce and delete the number of programme registered by clicking the“RemovePreference”button. However,onceaprogrammechoice is removed,applicantswilllosethatslotandthefeeisnon-refundable.

v) Thetotalamountthatanapplicanthastopayisbasedonthenumberofprogramme(s)heor
