Pray for students who are hungry, physically at risk, and who feel unloved or unlovable. Pray for teachers, who need creativity, patience and strength to help all these students be successful. Pray for principals and other building-level staff, and for the district- and state-level administrators who make decisions daily that impact studentseducation. Pray for others who work in the system – for custodians, bus drivers, cafete- ria workers, and other support staff. Pray for college students, who face a new world of temptations and academic challenges as they go out into the world on their own. Pray that they make good choices that will prepare them to become productive citizens in our community, or wherever they end up. And pray that you will have the wisdom, skills and patience needed to support students in all their endeav- ors – school, community and church. Best wishes for everyone this school year!

pole from garden; picking up fence posts and large de-bris in/around yard and garden; trimming maples in back yard; trimming shrubs; weed-eating around house and where not mown; and weeding flower beds and walkways. Still work to be done but an amazing start, especially considering the weather. Thanks to all who helped (Moore Family, Mayer Family, Doug Trimble, Hannah Bush, Joanne Weikert, and especially Keyser Kirtley, who cleaned the back yard). 2) Heavy rains flooded the SW corner of the basement; we need a bet-ter, stronger dehumidifier there (now uses old ones from Fellowship Hall) 3) Trees need to be removed: Spruce trees north of basement; large dead tree on west side; Lilac and roots beside chicken pen; dead Dog-wood on east lawn; overgrown shrub on SW corner. 4) No property meeting on July 4.

Stewardship (Robert Christian, Allen Martin): No report.

Worship (Hannah Bush, Nancy K. Cook, Tracy May-er): The Session passed a motion by Robert Christian to move the previously scheduled Communion from Aug. 5 to July 22 due to the minister’s vacation in August.

Pastor’s Report: Pastor Wyche represented Heb-ron at the dedication of a new State Historical Marker for Glebe Burying Ground on Saturday, June 9. Pastor Wyche was on vacation June 19-25 (unused week of vacation carried over from 2017-2018) and will take two weeks of vacation in August, being out of the pul-pit Aug. 5 and 12. The newsletter is in work for availa-bility to the congregation on Sunday, July 1, but it may not be ready because the pastor’s computer has been in the shop. Bible study of Ephesians will resume in July.

The next Stated Session Meeting will be July 26 at 7 p.m. The blessings and prayer concerns of the congre-gation, friends, and relatives were shared by Session for corporate and individual prayer. The meeting was ad-journed with prayer by the moderator at 7:52 p.m.
