Your gift brings Bob so much joy Never underestimate

the power of connection. Let me tell you

about Bob, two fish sandwiches, and strawberry milkshake.

Like so many of us, Bob felt isolated at home.

You see, his housemates have family they interact with regularly. Bob does not.

So, one day I asked him if I could bring lunch to his house. Bob readily agreed.

He asked for two fish sandwiches and a strawberry milkshake. I was happy to oblige!

During our time together, Bob’s eyes sparkled. We chatted about movies and actors over lunch. One of

his favorite actors is Clint Eastwood. You should hear Bob’s impression of Dirty Harry! After that first visit, Bob asked when I’d be coming back.As I’m sure you know, social connection is so important

- especially right now.Since then Bob and I have had several visits. It gives us

both something to look forward to.Now in his seventies, Bob is using technology to connect

with his friends. He loves seeing familiar faces at virtual Zoom dances!

Moments like this are only possible with your support. From everyone at CPARC, I wish you a warm and vibrant

holiday season. We are grateful to be connected to you.
