The heart is about Self-Love and Desire. You are now asking, “What about me?”

On the Master Path, your heart expresses compassion, harmony, forgiveness, connection, and love.

(Note: Master Path feels good; Student Path feels yucky.)

What IS love?

Examples of conditional love: “I can love these people and not these others.” “I love my family but not everyone’s family.”

You move toward unconditional love one step at a time.

As you individuate and ascend onto the Master Path of the Heart Chakra, you may notice that the limiting beliefs of your tribe as well as people in your tribe may seem to want to hold you back. They are doing their best to keep you safe – which is the main role of your original tribe.

Unless you make conscious decisions, this tribal influence will hamper your evolution and individuation into a conscious, aware being. Your challenge and opportunity is to honor your heart, honor your passions, and live your passions.

Heart Line Rules: Short or Long Heart Line?

o Short = you don’t spend much time in feelingso Long = you spend lots of time in feelings

Curvy or Straight Heart Line?

o Curvy = you are outwardly expressive of feelingso Straight = you are more reserved about expressing feelings

Heart lines reveal how you express love and how you want love expressedto you.

“Hermit” Heart Line ~ Earth Element |Chakra 1 (Root): Most reserved about sharing feelings; self-focused. #1 need is freedom – will do anything to maintain their freedom. Hate being trapped - being trapped is hell.

“Social Hermit” Heart Line ~ Earth Element |Chakra 1 (Root): Slight curve to fingers, doesn’t reach bottom of fingers. Still a “Hermit” heart line but has a more social energy, a little more chatty, a little more open about how they feel; maybe 90 minutes at a party.

“Passionate” Heart Line ~ Fire Element |Chakras 2 & 3 (Sex and Solar Plexus): Royalty – “Do not mess with my realm, because I am the Queen/King.” “I want what I want and I want it NOW.” "All about me" with no apology (self-focused like the “Hermit”). Somebody has to know what they want and get it for them. Can be demanding and self-centered. Consideration of others goes a long way.

“Big Heart” Heart Line ~ Water Element |Chakra 4 (Heart): "All about YOU" (other-focused); nurturing and care-taking. Most important thing is that the people in their life are being nurtured and taken care of. The Big Heart very graciously wants to do that; can burn out from over-giving. Being alone/working alone is hard.

“Passionate Acting Like a Big Heart” Heart Line ~ Fire & Water Elements | Chakras 2 & 3 (Sex and Solar Plexus) + Chakra 4 (Heart): Passionate heart line detours to Big Heart termination point. “It’s not okay to have my passions.” Has fears that “I’m not going to be loved if I’m that selfish, self-oriented.” Line detour happens early in childhood; carries Passionate and Big Heart energies. Big Heart energy is predominate but owner thinks, “Wouldn’t it be nice if someone noticed all I’m giving and took care of me?”

“Romantic Idealist” Heart Line ~ Air Element |Chakra 5 (Throat): Number one requirement is being considerate – “It’s so rude when people ______________.” Takes things into consideration; weighing things; thinking about feelings; looking into the future – “What about this?”

“Simian” Heart Line ~ Melding of Heart and Head Lines into One Line (Chakra 6-type mental energy): Feeling and thinking energies are unified. Difficult to separate how they feel and think. Ask a thinking question – get a feeling answer; ask a feeling question – get a thinking answer. Very intense – two systems merged into one. Calm on the outside – profound intensity on the inside. Burn the midnight oil when excited about something – don’t try to make them go to bed. Often feel misunderstood due to inability to separate thoughts and feelings.

Multiple Heart Lines ~ Emotional Explorer (Multiple Elements/Chakras in Play): First heart line type ends at the split point. Example below has the Hermit, then splits into Big Heart and Romantic Idealist. In this instance, person gives and receives love in three distinct ways. Story: The three heart lines go to a party. The one who accepts the invitation is the Big Heart. Romantic Idealist goes somewhere to have a deep conversation with one person. Within an hour, the Hermit is saying, “I’ve had enough, let’s go.” Hermit has to get the attention of the Big Heart and get the Big Heart to move out of the party. Big Heart has to say ‘goodbye’ to everyone she knows. Living with multiple emotional selves is a lot of emotional expression. Educate people in your life about your complexity.
