“The purpose of the proposed IPSF Healthy Living and Diabetes campaign is to increase awareness and further involve future pharmacists in the prevention, treatment, and increased public education on the issues of obesity and diabetes. We aim to encourage pharmacy students world wide to become proactively involved in preventative medicine, while preserving their role as drug and medication experts.”

Conclusions

• Collaboration with other healthcare students– Nutrition students, counselling on what to eat– When doing campaigns, setting up separate

stations staffed with students from different professions

– Collaboration depends on traditions, also how universities or campuses are located

– Collaboration can be on local level, but not national level, or vice versa
