After a thorough evaluation of the property and our market knowledge, we were able to implement a comprehensive marketing plan, which increased the occupancy from 54% to 81% over an 8-month period. In addition, the overall rentable square footage of the building was increased by another 4%. After the ownership’s leasing goals were exceeded, Transwestern represented the ownership in a disposition of the asset which yielded over 30 offers, and had a successful closing with the selected buyer within 4 months of taking the property to market.

The engagement consisted of pre-leasing and leasing with an aggressive timeline for delivery of the project. By implementing the proper strategic plan concerning the tenant/practice mix for the project which provided synergy and referral patterns across multiple specialty practices resulted in a 94% Leased project within 3 months of the building’s certificate of occupancy. Programs include Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Imaging, Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Gastroenterology, Pharmacy, ENT, Dermatology, Rehabilitation, and Urology.

OUR TEAMSTEVE HALL - SENIOR VICE PRESIDENTSteve Hall is senior vice president for Healthcare Advisory Services for the Southeast bringing 20 years of medical real estate experience to this position. Steve advises owners and users of medical office space on portfolio management, asset acquisition and disposition, build-to-suit development, and lease negotiation and administration. In addition, Steve works with the Transwestern national healthcare platform in continuing to improve and grow our client services.

JOHN V. LOPEZ, CCIM, RPA - VICE PRESIDENTJohn V. Lopez, CCIM, RPA, is Vice President for Healthcare Advisory Services bringing 30 cumulative years of commercial and healthcare advisory experience to this position. John is responsible for the oversight and execution of medical real estate investment and leasing objectives for clients throughout the Southeast. In addition, John works closely with the Healthcare Advisory team in continuing to improve and grow our client services.

BO STUART - HEALTHCARE ANALYSTBo Stuart is the business analyst for Transwestern’s Southeast healthcare brokerage team. In this role, he performs all aspects of supporting the team with pre-sales marketing, research and transaction processing, while assisting the team through direct and indirect marketing initiatives. Bo also analyzes qualitative and quantitative information, then catalogs the information for further strategic deliverables, presentations, and proposals.

THERESA NGUYEN - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATETheresa Nguyen is an administrative associate for Transwestern. In her role, she supports multiple brokers across several departments with duties including meeting scheduling, organizing calls, calendar management, coordinating and developing travel itineraries, and assisting in processing of expense reports. She also performs research on current and prospective properties, then provides results for brokers to review. She is responsible for compiling documentation used in presentations and reports.
