Introduction
This activity will take place while you are on a placement in a Health and Social Care setting.
You will need to:
• Support individuals to have a party, using different mathematics
Once you have completed the task, discuss this with your workplace mentor.

It would be useful to have the following:
• A calculator
• A pen, pencil and eraser

• Supporting an individual with their financial affairs
Functional Skills:
• Select and apply mathematics in an organised way to find solutions to practical problems for different
purposes.
