Mike Little became a certified personal trainer in 1999.When he entered the industry he was disappointed withwhat was happening in the profession and saw an

opportunity to create a more personalized experience foreach client and focus solely on their individual needs. Hedecided to counter those practices in 2002 by starting hisown fitness center, Dynamic Personal Fitness (DPF). Hemoved to his current Webster Groves facility at 607 E.Lockwood Ave., Suite 101, in 2004.

I wanted to bring professionalism and integrity to theindustry while trying to provide quality employment to thebest trainers in the St. Louis area, Little said.

Exercise science has advanced since he entered theindustry and has lured more professional instructors.

Trainers are not only certified but come from otherprofessional backgrounds as well: Vickie Ebert, a CPA andan avid runner, specializes in older adult training. Terry Jeeppracticed law before starting a career in golfing and strengthand flexibility training.

Dynamic Personal Fitness has experience in trainingdifferent individuals with very different goals.

Our clients range in age from 12 to 90, Little said.We sit down with each person before we begin workingwith them and go over their health history, their experience, their goals and then map out a plan. Each individual hasdifferent needs. Therefore, nobody gets the same workouts,Little said.

Clients tout the individualized workouts they receive.DPF is a wonderful training studio because of the

personal attention you receive, the privacy with which youtrain and impressive results, said Susan S.

The last part of the journey is the most difficult forpeople to travel. Each person depends on us to make theirremaining days as comfortable and pain-free as possible, said Murphy. The LSS Hospice Care team believes whole-heartedly in touching each life and using our expertise toallow a natural, peaceful, and dignified death. Wecommunicate honestly and help everyone understand whatto expect. Hospice provides a compassionate alternative that canenable patients and families to remain together through

end-of-life. It is often under-utilized because people areunaware of the benefits hospice care can bring. People aregiven support from so many sources when they come intothis world, leaving this world with the same level of supportis every bit as important, Murphy said.

My training in Obstetrics and Gynecologyfollowed by subspecialty training in Urogynecologyhas allowed me to focus on women only from the verybeginning. Understanding the effects of childbirth onthe pelvic floor is an important part in helpingwomen with these issues.

At UC, they offer a variety of treatment optionsboth surgical and non-surgical.

We offer minimally invasive incontinence andprolapse procedures, sacral neuromodulation and inoffice urodynamic testing, said Dr. Khan. In fact, Dr.Khan is the only area physician performing the newrobotic da Vinci hysterectomy at the time of prolapse

repair.Since starting her practice in South County and

West County, Dr. Khan has helped women of all agesregain control and improve their quality of life.

Women are embarrassed and dont like to talkabout these issues. We hope to educate women thatthey are not alone and treatment is available.
