Helpful Hints1. 3D laminate arm cap models do not meet
EPP and shall not be specified. Wood, polyurethane, or solid surface is approved.
2. Softened vinyl edge banding and wire managers shall be excluded from all work surface options. Polypropylene, HPL self- rim, and wood edge banding permitted to be in compliance with EPP.
3. All laminate casegoods to have no softened vinyl. Refer to Kaiser Ordering Guidelines document.
4. 3D laminate work surfaces, tiles, and end panels (Narrate) are excluded from EPP approved products. Specify HPL, TFL, or wood alternatives to meet EPP.
5. Grommet options limited to painted models only - No nickel or chrome grommets permitted for EPP.
6. Do not specify seating with moisture barrier option or fire retardant models.
7. Ergo requirement - Can only specify Xsede 3-stage and Priority dual-stage height adjust base models.

Helpful Hints:
1. Some fabrics above may be graded-in. Graded-in fabrics are bold on EPP sheet. Kimball will be publishing updated lists of the fabrics we are grading in periodically to the dealers and designers/specifiers. Graded-in fabrics still may incur extended lead time, yardage minimum, etc.
2. Many fabrics may need to be application tested. Please review web index of application approvals and coordinate with dedicated customer service rep, Brittany McMahon for application testing.
3. COM orders/shipments need to be sent to the appropriate manufacturing facilities.
a. Kimball Health products are made in North Carolina Kimball Health: Attention: COM Department 687 West Ward Ave High Point, NC 27260 (Alpine and Spruce) 104 Seminole Drive Archdale, NC 27263 (Shore, Meadow, Villa Health Sleep Sofa, Sycamore)
b. All other products are made at 11th Street in Jasper, Indiana and will receive COM order at: Kimball Office: Attention: COM Department 340 East 11th Avenue Jasper, IN 47549-1001

Helpful HintsSeating and Lounge
1. TB133 models are excluded from specifications to meet EPP.
2. Wood, solid surface or polyurethane arms caps are recommended for Kaiser. 3D laminate arms caps excluded for specification to meet EPP.
3. All moisture barrier specifications must be free of softened vinyl.
4. Ergonomic requirements: Refer to KP’s Infozone site.
a. All Kimball task seating applications should include: Pnuematic, Lumbar Support, Seat Slider, 4D Arm, Progressive Tension and Back Lock.
i. Wish series is approved for KP task seating ergonomic requirements.
5. All upholstery specifications shall meet EPP. Please refer to KP’s Infozone site.
a. Kimball’s EPP approved fabrics and Alliance fabrics are noted herein.
Desking and Open Plan Products
1. 3D laminate work surfaces, and end panels (Narrate) are not permitted for specification for Kaiser. TFL, HPL or wood is recommended with appropriate edge banding (see below) to comply with EPP.
2. All work surface edge band options shall be limited to solid wood rim, polypropylene, or self edge models. No softened vinyl for edge banding permitted to meet EPP.
3. Continuous wire managers not permitted for use with work surfaces for KP due to softened vinyl. Please specify grommets instead.
4. Works surface grommet options limited to painted or plastic models. Nickel and chrome grommets to be excluded from specification to meet EPP.
5. Footprint and Priority laminate storage models that contain softened vinyl are not permitted for specification due to EPP requirements. Please refer to EPP catalogue for unique softened vinyl free models.
6. Ergonomic requirements: Refer to KP’s Infozone site.
a. Xsede (3 Stage) and Priority (dual stage) recommended for compliance for height adjustable tables. 23”-48” range required.
