Description: GenomeDx Biosciences is seeking a dedicated Customer Care Specialist (CCS) that will serve as a key point of contact for external and internal parties including health care professionals, cancer patients, and field-based sales representatives. The CCS will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in coordinating testing services for our Physicians and their patients. Primarily, the CCS will focus in two areas. First, assist with triaging incoming phone calls from various origins including ordering physicians, patients and pathology laboratories. Second, the CCS will also ensure accurate data entry of orders for GenomeDx tests and for requesting specimens from pathology laboratories to be shipped to GenomeDx Biosciences Laboratory.
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to work independently, but who is also flexible and can contribute to the GenomeDx team by responding positively to an evolving, growing environment. The Customer Care Specialist must be a fast learner, detail oriented, dependable, and have excellent telephone etiquette.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer care:
Triage incoming customer service phone calls
Respond in a calm and professional manner to customer inquiries
Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
Promptly respond and follow up on customer interactions
Comply with applicable regulations and with corporate policies and procedures
Pathology support:
Communicate written requests for specimens to pathology laboratories
Engage and coordinate with the sales team and other internal employees as needed
Data entry:
Test order data entry and processing
Outreach to healthcare provider offices to obtain any missing information required to complete the other entry process
Electronic file maintenance
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably a science degree
2+ years experience in customer service in the healthcare/lab industry preferred
Detailed oriented with consistent follow through
Demonstrably strong interpersonal, listening, and organizational skills
Excellent problem solving skills and effective at overcoming obstacles and mitigating conflicts
Exceptional telephone manners and etiquette
