Brief Introduction : For the monitoring of the effectiveness and performance of the health care system in the state, a large amount of data has to be collected from the institutions on a periodical basis, compiled and transformed into meaningful reports. The reporting, monitoring and evaluation of activities should be possible at all levels, starting at the sub centre level, which is the grass root level institution. This information has to be accessible to all who are involved in the decision making process. Such a system can help realize the public interest related to disease prevention, health promotion, and population health. to give recommendations on introducing systems for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process. Inoformation technology is used for communication, Data Collection , and Data Analysis in massive scale. The information technology we can speed up administrating decision and monitoring.

Need for Health IT : The health Department has around 2800 institution and 10,000 Sub Center and 6.25 crore (62 million) people to serve. In health Department 67,000 workforce. From Each Institution around 60 pages of report is given per month that leads to 1,68,000 pages per month 20,16,000 pages of report per year that amounts to 2,01,60,000 bits of report per year.

Human Resource Needed for Karnataka Health Information Technology CenterIntroduction : The E-governacne in Health can be named as Health IT division. It consists of two main Division called as E-Hospital and KHMIS. The KHMIS division is to see the online reporting management, disease surveillance, drugs logistics, logistics support, Human Resource management, NRHM management, Health Survey, Geo information system, Financial management, Administrative management, Transfer counseling, messaging services, E-Office, Video conferencing, virtual video training, local language data.

Human Resource needed:At KHMIS Administrative officer :•Special Officer of KHMIS: He is the head of the Khmis he is limited power to online training , administration , notice to non working institution, financial officer, communication between govt, Directorate office, and Khmis and workers in HFW.•State level Helath IT Trainer: he is responsible to train workers in HFW , taking virtual meeting with Health and family welfare workers , give suggestion for how to manage KHMIS.•State Level Health IT Implementation officer: he is responsible for implementation of Helath it software and hardware, technical suggestion team .giving notice not to implement KHMIS.•Health it technical advisor: he is responsible for new idea , software development team.
