How much health information do you know about first aid? Are you in a situation where you need first aid assistance?

Core Question.

Page 5: Health for dummies

The problem is many young people from age 12-18 have no first aid knowledge, and Health4Dummies app can help them gain some

knowledge and help them in a first aid needing situation e.g. someone in our class suddenly gets a nose bleed the teacher asks the class what

we should do, randomly people start to shout ‘’you need to tilt your head back!’’ ‘’ No forward!’’ ‘’ you need to block your nose!’’ ‘’you need

to lie down on your back’’. This is how we found out that no one had knowledge of first aid. Also the person who was having the nose bleed

can go on the app and let the app solve his/her problem.

Mini Elevator Pitch.

Page 7: Health for dummies

we have learnt that are our users really find our app useful in many ways e.g. One of our friends from school named Dave told us his story he said one time him and his friend Michael were going somewhere and they uncounted a stairs , they started to walk down it and suddenly Dave feel down the stairs and twisted his ankle . Both Dave and Michael did not know what you do but they have heard of our app called (health4dummies) so Michael took out his phone and downloaded the app. And by first sight they knew how to work it because our app was simple because of the aged range we set it out for. So Michael type in the situation . ‘’ what to do when you twist your ankle?’’. and he app showed them what to do step by step with a picture for each step. Dave and Michael told us that they really liked our app because it was simple and not complex it was easy to use and figure out but also fun. They also said that it helped them to know what to do if anything else like that happen in the future and also they will recommend this to their other friends because they think everyone our age range should have it on their phone. This was very good to hear from them because this is want we wanted people to think of our app.

My friend and I were at the park having fun and chasing each other. She then fell flat on her face and wounded her knee, we were both panicking not knowing what to do. An idea then came to mind “there’s an app called Health4Dummies it can tell us what do!”. So I then typed in the situation and it gave me an answer to the dilemma. After being healed we both wrote a review for the app saying thanks and how useful it was. (A story and review wrote by Esther and Nathalie)

Users analysis.

Page 8: Health for dummies

In the Google market we have found an app(Health app) that has the

same purpose as our app but the thing that makes our app so unique is that we have a unique map language change and pictures in our app

which helps you understand better.

Marketing Research.

Me and my friends are going out and accidently one of the falls them and twist their ankle so I take out my iPhone and go on the

app (Health4Dummies) I type in twisted ankle and it show’s us instructions and pictures for what we should do

The minimum thing our app needs to do to be still an app is to be able to let you type in your situation and show you the solution by

instructions or/and pictures.

I think our app is very possible to make and also will be easy. Our app is simple to make because all the information we need is already available it dose not need to do anything fancy and complicated, the technology we are needing to build our app is very much available in this centaury

and we know our app will be easy to make because we have started creating our app on appshed a website witch allows you to make apps. Our app will have a lot of content because its got a variety of medical

help.

Content and technical feasibility

Page 15: Health for dummies

Our app can make money by getting people to pay for advertisement etc. Also by us shearing it with our friends which then they will shear with their friends and family. We can also make money by asking the NHS for their practises and support in return we will advertise them.

For example We are slowly building our app on appshed (a website that helps you make you own app) which then we can release it so then a

wide range of people can upload it on their phone already and it will be on the appshed website. This can get more people to notice and go on our app. People should not pay for app because there is a lot of health apps that you have to pay to get it so if our app is free more people can

be able to get it and also if our app makes it big then we can begin to charge a little like 29-68 pence. we made this change for our app because of customers feedback. We also added by adding a map

changing the language status and adding pictures so people could understand it more.

Business Model/ Costumer Analysis

Marketing Strategy Are marking strategy is that we market our app through our twitter our Facebook, instragam, tumblr, YouTube and also by asking different network sites to advertised us on their pages. We are marketing our app through all these ways so many people could know about our app and spread it to their friends and family. We will also ask our friend and families to spread the word to their friends and their work companions. We will as well also try to be active and advertise our app by making leaflets printing out poster to put up on people shop and carry out surveys too see what people think about our app and too take in any suggestion on how to improve it.

App Design Mock-up

We hope that you can take our app in to consideration because we feel that it will go very far if we have support from higher health companies e.g. if you could help us by asking the NHS and if you can help out by advertising it on the play store.

We also have already started making our app on a app making website called appshed which is also going to be sent to you through our entry.
