MAKE HALF YOUR GRAINS WHOLEWhole grains are higher in fiber and some
nutrients than other grains.
Look for whole wheat or other whole grains on the ingredient label.
Brazilian beans and rice are a good choice.
VARY YOUR VEGGIESMost people do not eat enough vegetables, especially dark green and orange vegetables.
Vegetables have vitamins and minerals that are important for a healthy body.
FOCUS ON FRUITSVariety is important, try different collors.
Juice drinks should be 100% juice.
GET YOUR CALCIUM-RICH FOODSMilk and milk products are
sources of calcium.
There is calcium in dark green leafy vegetables, too.
YOUR BODY IS MADE WITH PROTEINSBut take care: don’t eat too much
of animal proteins.
USE HEALTHY OILS AND DO NOT HEAT THEM
SAY NO TO HIGH FAT AND HIGH SUGAR FOODS
LIMIT PROCESSED FOOD
DRINK A LOT OF WATER
DO PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
AND BE HEALTHIER!
